Picture Polish ~ Pshiiit

Picture Polish ~ Pshiiit
Green metallic with gold shimmer and flakies

Pshiiit has been sitting in the box of untrieds for a long time. It didn’t quite look as I thought it would and when I saw it in the bottle in real life I just thought “meh”! It’s never good when you sit with that feeling when you look at a polish.

Today is the day I’m finding out whether this is a keeper or not. Unfortunately Pshiiit decided to not photograph very well, so I don’t have any pictures of it on its own. I can show you the final mani though:

It’s two coats of Pshiiit. Drying time is okay. Then there’s a silver stripe down each nail and turquoise dots on each side of the stripes. It’s all topped with El Corazón’s holo glitter topcoat 421h/25.

Here are the polishes I used:

Picture Polish: Pshiiit, Claire’s silver striper, El Corazón’s stamping polish: Turquoise, El Corazón: 421h/25
I must admit that this didn’t whoop my cookies. Pshiiit still gives me the “meh”-feeling and consequently it has to leave the family :/

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Metallic with flakies
Overall impression: Hmm, it’s not just me

Jade ~ Over the Rainbow

Jade ~ Over the Rainbow
Pink linear holo

Here’s another one of my new Jade polishes, Over the Rainbow. I might as well say right away that I love the name!!

The formula is a bit on the sheer side, but it builds up really easy, so I still only used two coats for my mani. The drying time is average.

I had sunshine, yay! This is two coats and no topcoat in the sun:

I love that the holo flame is purple and red, it’s a super pretty rainbow!

The rainbows are still there in lower lights. The colour isn’t as impressive without the sunshine though.

I placed four glitter hexagons by the base of each nail and then I made a blue dot in the middle of the hexes. I topcoated the whole thing, and this, sweet readers, is my final mani:

A colour like this needs something darker to make it look good on me. The flower by the base did the trick for me and I love this mani!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Average
Finish: Strong linear
Overall impression: Cool rainbows!

Jade ~ Sunset

Jade ~ Sunset
Coral orange/pink linear holo

Jade isn’t featured very often in blog world and that’s a shame because they make some really beautiful linear holos. Today I’m going to show you Sunset. I’m not quite sure what colour it is to be honest. It looks pink in the bottle but it has a coral tone to it which reminds me of orange.

I used two easy coats for my mani and the drying time was pretty average.

This is what it looks like in the sunshine:

It looks orange here in the sun.

Here it is in the shade. There are still rainbows, but I think the pink tone shows its face here.

I applied some flower stickers onto two of my nails. I received them in a swap a very long time ago.

This is my final mani, including a layer of topcoat.

I really like this polish. I’m going to wear more of my Jade polishes in future, that’s for sure!
