Love, Angelina: Coralline

Love, Angelina: Coralline
Clear base with orange, coral and pink microglitters

Today's polish is quite special - I don't have anything similar to it. I decided to layer it over an orange-y red.

So: First one coat of Essence's "Heatwave", then one coat of Love, Angelina's "Coralline". Then a layer of topcoat, mostly for the camera.

Then I applied black and silver flower stickers, and then I finished it all off with a layer of topcoat.

Here's how pretty it is in the sun:

I like this a lot!

This is one coat of Essence's "Heatwave", with one coat of Love, Angelina's "Coralline" on top.

Here are the polishes I used today. The two polishes are a great match.

"Coralline" is really pretty over the base colour, that's definitely how I'll be wearing it in future.

Number of coats: 1 over a base colour

Finish: Microglitter

Love, Angeline ~ Let me Fly

Love, Angeline ~ Let me Fly
Teal with green flecks and iridescent glitters

The formula of Let me Fly is on the thick side, but it’s really easy to work with anyway. It spreads out easily and it dries fast, and it also covers in only two coats. It’s a gorgeous colour and I really like the glitters and flecks!

Take a look at two coats plus a layer of Poshé topcoat:

Am I the only one who think “peacock” when I see this polish?

I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about Let me Fly!

I made some random dots by the base of the nails. I used a green from Kiko’s Denim collection, namely #463 Evasion Lawn Green, and a silver holo from Urban Outfitters called Silver Holo. Brilliantly thought up name, don’t you think? ;)

I applied another layer of Poshé topcoat, and here’s my final mani:

I like that the green dots are subtle and that the silver dots are contrast-y.

Verdict:
Let me Fly is a great polish. The colour is cool and the mix of flecks and glitters is perfect!

Love, Angeline ~ Angelicious

Love, Angeline ~ Angelicious
Soft lilac creamy base with rainbow flakes and aqua shimmer

Angelicious is a Norway Nails exclusive. I’m not surprised that it’s lilac and not surprised that the name refers to something with angels either. It’s a very pretty polish.

The formula is thick. I don’t usually mind that but since it’s also got a very fast drying time, I actually thinned it a bit before applying my second coat. It covers really well – it was close to being a one coater, which is unusual for such a light colour. I applied two coats to even everything out, and I also applied a layer of Poshé topcoat before taking my pictures.

Take a look at two coats and a layer of Poshé topcoat:

The shimmer is subtle but oh so pretty!

I could even get it to flash a bit of holo goodness!

I wanted to try out my nail vinyls, so I applied a chevron and painted the tips with Ellagee’s Living Just As Free As My Hair, which is a holographic scattered holo. I can’t get my camera to show it correctly no matter what I do, so the tips aren’t colour correct – the ellagee is a bit lighter than the pictures show.

There’s an additional layer of Poshé topcoat on the following pictures:

The Ellagee is NOT colour accurate!

And one last shot:

The Ellagee is NOT colour accurate!

Verdict:
Angelicious is a very sweet, non offensive polish. The shimmer and the little flakes that makes it special – and I really like that I can get it to flash some pretty rainbows too!
