Don Deeva: Menehune Mischief

Don Deeva: Menehune Mischief
Vivid aqua microglitter in a tinted base

"Menehune Mischief" is the last of the three polishes of The Don Deeva Hawaiian Vacation "Kamanawanalea" Trio from the HHC Facebook group in August 2016. This is the only one of the trio that hasn't faded, hooray!

The base of "Menehune Mischief" is tinted so I had no problems with coverage and I used two easy coats for my nails today. The drying time is good.

The stripes are made with Nabi's "Purple".

This is the final result, including topcoat. This first photo is taken in the sun.

Isn't this just pretty?!

Don Deeva: McLovin - faded

Don Deeva: McLovin - faded
Originally vivid purple microglitter - now faded into magenta

"McLovin" is one third of The Don Deeva Hawaiian Vacation "Kamanawanalea" Trio from the HHC Facebook group in August 2016. It was originally an amazingly beautiful vivid purple microglitter. At this point it has faded into being magenta. Just like Kamanawanalea, that I showed you yesterday - this is still pretty, but I am pretty sad that this has faded so much.

The base of "McLovin" was originally tinted purple, but the base seems to have faded as well. I used two easy coats for my nails today, but when I look at my pictures I can see that I should have worn three. The drying time is good.

The flowers are nail stickers.

This is the final result, including topcoat. This first photo is taken in the sun.

Don Deeva: Kamanawanalea - faded

Don Deeva: Kamanawanalea - faded
Originally vivid pink microglitter - now faded into a more coral toned pink

"Kamanawanalea" is one third of The Don Deeva Hawaiian Vacation "Kamanawanalea" Trio from the HHC Facebook group in August 2016. It was originally an amazingly beautiful hot pink, almost magenta, microglitter. At this point it has faded into a coral pink. It's still pretty, but I really wish I had worn this before it faded.

The base of "Kamanawanalea" is tinted pink so this polish covers in two easy coats. The drying time is good.

The stars are from the stamping plate "SA-20". I stamped with a regular white stamping polish from El Corazón.

This is the final result, including topcoat. This first photo is taken in daylight, no sun.

The sun came out, yay! So this photo is taken in sunlight. I love the holographic glitter.

NailNation 3000: Once Bitten

NailNation 3000: Once Bitten
Deep berry jelly linear holo

Today's polish was a part of a subscription box called "The Holo Grail", and was released in April 2014. That was a lovely subscription box because all of the polishes in the box were holographic. I absolutely loved that concept!!

The formula is good and I used two coats for full opacity. The drying time was really good.

I dapped on a bit of Essie's glitter "You're So Cupid". Then I stamped on it. The design is from the stamping plate "Moyra No. 106 Such A Strange Girl". I stamped with a baby pink stamping polish from Born Pretty Store.

Here's the final result including topcoat.

I really like the combination of holo, glitter and stamping.
