Femme Fatale: Ruby Hare - revisited
Described as a medium berry pink with subtle copper shine and linear holo

It has been seven years ago since I wore this polish last. That is what happens when you have Helmers full of nail polish and only ten fingernails. “Ruby Hare” is a beautiful berry linear holo with a really pretty copper shimmer.

The formula is still really good and I used two easy and fast drying coats for full opacity.

I attached a simple butterfly on my ring finger (and my thumb) and topped the whole thing with topcoat.

This is the final result in the sun:

Look at that shimmer and shine!

Here it is without the butterflies.

I really like both the holo and the shimmer effect in this polish. And the formula is still amazing after all these years – no need for thinner and the drying time is still good.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Pretty good
Finish: Shimmer and linear holo
Overall impression: Good quality polish, great effect
Buy again: I wrote no when I tried this on in 2014 – but I’m glad I kept this polish, so I’m going to write yes to buying it again now

Femme Fatale ~ My Jabber-Baby-Wocky?! (July 2016 Oops)

Femme Fatale ~ My Jabber-Baby-Wocky?! (July 2016 Oops)
Violet purple creme with green shimmer and scattering of silver holo

The formula of "My Jabber-Baby-Wocky?!" is good and easy to work with. I used two coats for my nails today and the drying time is good.

I added flower stickers onto my nails and made some red dots on my nails as well. I used Color by Llarowe's "The Heart Bleeds" for the dots.

Here's the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

I'm not a huge fan of the dots I made - I think they should have been way smaller, but oh well...

Here's "My Jabber-Baby-Wocky?!" alone; two coats and no topcoat yet. I think my shimmer looks more blue than green. Perhaps that's why my bottle is an "oops", who knows.

Here are the polishes and the stickers I used today.

Here's just a picture of the sticker on the bottom of the bottle:

"My Jabber-Baby-Wocky?!" was limited edition, but it's still available from Hypnotic Polish.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Shimmer and holo
Overall impression: It's a nice polish, I like the shimmer. It doesn't really wow me though, I'm not sure why

Femme Fatale ~ Pearl Droplets

First of all:

I wish you all a very happy new year!
I hope that you made it safely into 2020!

Today's polish is:

Femme Fatale ~ Pearl Droplets
Described as sheer cool-toned pink base packed with red-shifting iridescent glitters, fine holographic shimmers and a super soft blue glow

"Pearl Droplets" is a store exclusive to Hypnotic Polish.

The formula is sheer but my short nails only required two coats for full opacity. The drying time was pretty good.

I made stripes and dots on it with red, glitter and white.

Here's what that looked like:

This polish is quite "soft". That's why I added the red and the glitter :D

I quite like the design here.

Here are the polishes I used. OPI: The Thrill of Brazil and Glitter To My Heart, El Corazón: 418/1 and Femme Fatale: Pearl Droplets.

and Femme Fatale: Pearl Droplets

The colour of "Pearl Droplets" is sweet but it looks as if all the added extra shimmers, glitters and glow drown a bit in the polish.

Number of coats: 2 (3 for longer nails)
Drying time: Good
Finish: Glitter, shimmer
Overall impression: Sweet colour, formula is sheer and effect isn't as effective as it could have been
Buy again: No
