Depend ~ Once Upon A Time #5069

Depend ~ Once Upon A Time #5069
Silver/Taupe prismatic holo and silver glitter

Here’s the last sister in the “Once Upon a Time”-collection from Depend. It’s a lovely collection of prismatic glitters.

#5069 is taupe. It’s not a colour I buy much but I like it as a base for nail art.
The polish is easy to work with and it covers in two coats. The drying time is really good and the glitters dry completely flat, no bumpiness at all, just like the other three I’ve tried so far.

I made a dry brush manicure out of it. I used a dark blue shimmer polish from Douglas called “Lara” and a lovely red shimmer from OPI called “You Only Live Twice”.

I topped it all with a layer of “Northern Lights” holo glitter topcoat from Out the Door.

This is how it all ended up looking like in the sun:

I like the way this ended up.

This is #5069 alone. Two coats and no topcoat. It’s a sunshine picture.

And here are all the polishes I used today.

I actually thought this was silver when I bought it, but I quite like this as my base.

Here are the links to the other sisters in the collection:

Depend ~ Once Upon A Time #5070

Depend ~ Once Upon A Time #5070
Pink prismatic holo and silver glitter

Here’s number three sister in the “Once Upon a Time”-collection from Depend. It’s a lovely collection of prismatic glitters.

#5071 is pink. It’s easy to work with and it covers in two coats. The drying time is really good and the glitters dry completely flat, no bumpiness at all, just like the other two I’ve tried so far.

I decided to go for a simple stripe-icure this time. I used a hot pink from Lady Rose with the number 746; the white and the black are both from OPI: The white is called “Angel with a Leadfoot” and the black is “Never have too Mani Friends”.

This is how it all ended up looking like in the sun:

Barry M Molten Metal ~ Holographic Moon

Barry M Molten Metal ~ Holographic Moon
Nude / taupe holographic

Barry M has made additions to the Molten Metal-collection, and the new ones contain holographic goodness! I had to buy!

The first one I try is Holographic Moon, which is a nude holographic. The formula is really good and I reached full opacity after two coats. The drying time is really good.

I stamped on it, because I don’t wear nudes on their own. The design is from Lina’s stamping plate “Make your Mark 03” and I stamped with a purple stamping polish from El Corazón called “Restless Night” and a pink stamping polish from KADS. It has got a number but it fell off during transport.

This is the final manicure, including a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken in the sun.

I love this design!

Here’s “Holographic Moon” on its own; this is two coats and no topcoat. It’s looking really nice for a nude.

Here are the polishes I used and the stamping plate.

This is a hit, even though I’m not usually a lover of nudes.
