Celestial ~ Elfin Rose

Celestial ~ Elfin Rose
Violet-toned pink linear holo, with miniature blue flakies and copper flakes

Elfin Rose is a store exclusive for Color4Nails.

The formula is good. I was satisfied with two coats until I saw my pictures, then I added a third coat to make it look perfect for the camera. Two coats is enough for girls who don’t photograph their manis; my camera just pick every little irregularity and flaw up – also those unseen for the human eye.

The drying time is good.

Here’s three coats and no topcoat:

I love the colour of this polish.

Here’s a low light picture to show off the blue flakies and the copper flakes.

I stamped on it. I chose a motif from Moyou London’s stamping plate Holy Shapes Collection-09 and I used El Corazón’s stamping polish Blue Neon for the stamp.

Here’s the final mani including a layer of Moyra’s stamping topcoat:

I think the blue flakies makes this polish really special. I love it!

Number of coats: 3 – but 2 is enough for non-bloggers :D
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Linear holo with flakies and flakes
Overall impression: I love the mix of holo, flakies and flakes. Thumbs up from me!

Celestial ~ This is Panda-Monium

Celestial ~ This is Panda-Monium
Pink leaning red linear holo with iridescent flakes

This is Panda-Monium is from the Pun-Tastic collection from summer 2016.

The formula is good and the polish covers in two easy coats. The drying time is good.

Here’s two coats and no topcoat taken with flash:

This is what it looks like in the shade. The flakes aren’t very prominent on the nails, but check the bottle out – there they are! :D

I stamped by the base of each nail. I used a triangular motif from Moyou London’s stamping plate Holy Shapes Collection-01. I stamped with Colors by Llarowe’s stamping polish Turq’d.

This is the final result in the sun:

These colours are so great together.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Tons of shimmer
Overall impression: I like this way more than I thought I would.

OPI ~ Can’t Afjörd Not To – with a couple of glitter friends

OPI ~ Can’t Afjörd Not To – with a couple of glitter friends
Orange with a touch of coral crème

Today I decided to mix crème and glitter and I got a result that I really liked. Take a look:

The crème is OPI’s Can’t Afjörd Not To. The formula is good but I had to use three coats before I was satisfied. When that was dry I sponged a golden glitter from OPI by the base of each name; I used My Favourite Ornament. After that I sponged another glitter on: CrowsToes’ VooDoo.

I topped it all with a thick layer of topcoat to get a smooth surface.

Here are the three polishes I used for my mani.

It’s not the last time I use more than one glitter for my glitter gradients. I really love the end result!

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Good
Finish: Crème
Overall impression: I like this orange colour
