Neon Green
Neon green
jelly
I found this neon green polish in my local supermarket
really cheap. I have never heard about the brand before, but it appears to be
British – it states “London” on the front of the bottle. I could see that it was
a jelly but I couldn’t resist the beautiful green so I decided to give it a go
since it was really cheap.
I have been considering making a pond mani for a
while, and I thought this was a good opportunity. I started out with a couple
of white dots on bare nails and then I applied a layer of polish. Then another
couple of white dots, followed by a layer of jelly. This polish is opaque after
three coats, but I applied four to get dots all over my nails.
Here’s my final mani. Four coats plus dots, and a layer
of topcoat:
The depth of my little pond is not impressive, but I
quite like this anyway.
I’m quite pleased with my first attempt of a pond mani
and I really like the colour of this green.
Number of
coats: 4, but it covers in 3

DeleteI love pond manis, this one is gorgeous :) I sometimes use jellies as tints in colouring stampings.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, and yes, thanks for the tip, I didn't think of using it as a tint :)
