Catrice:  First Class Up-Grape
Deep burgundy with shimmer

I have bought quite a lot of dark, vampy shimmers, but I must admit that they do get to sit in the box of untrieds way too long. I love them more in the bottle than on my nails. That's why I'm only wearing "First Class Up-Grape" now, many years after I actually bought it.

The formula is on the thick side but I still didn't have any problems with the application. The polish covers in two coats.

I added some really gorgeous nail water decals. They're with a Japanese designs and I love them.

I topped it all with P2's holo glitter topper "Just Fantastic!".

Here's the final result in the sun:

I think I'll probably find a more suitable home for this polish. I like it, but it's a bit dark for me.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: Thick formula but great coverage. Nice shimmer.

OPI: Bubble Bath
Nude crelly

I am not a big fan of nude polishes so I rarely buy them. I received "Bubble Bath" in a grab bag and it has been sitting on a shelf for a couple of months. My plan was to rehome it, but you know the drill: No polish leaves the premises without at least having been tried.

The formula is good for a crelly and I had no problems with application. I used three coats for desired opacity. The drying time was good.

I obviously didn't wear it alone. I made it into a brush stroke manicure with blue and pink. They're both OPI polishes; the blue is "Trip-i-cal-i-fiji-istic" and the pink is "That's Berry Daring". I topped it with Orly's holo glitter topper "Shine On Crazy Diamond".

Here's the end result in the sun:
