Moyra: #807

Moyra: #807
Metallic blue with shimmer

I bought quite a lot of Moyra polishes when I was in Hungary. Today's polish is a gorgeous blue with shimmer.

The formula is thin and not super easy to work with. The first coat applies streaky and patchy. The second coat even out almost all irregularities, but it's the third coat that make everything perfect. The drying time is average.

I stamped a white dragonfly by the base of each nail. The dragonfly is from stamping plate "SA-18". I ended up not liking the look of that so I tried to fix it with glitter, haha!! The glitter is "Trust Fund Baby" from Spoiled.

Here's the final result:

I actually quite like dragonflies with glitter on them :D

Here's Moyra's #807 alone; three coats and a layer of topcoat.

Here are the things I used today.

I really like the look of Moyra #807 so I am willing to forgive the three coats coverage and the thin formula.

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Average
Finish: Metallic with shimmer
Overall impression: Really nice colour and shimmery effect. The formula is thin and patchy

Sinful Colors ~ Kobalt

Sinful Colors ~ Kobalt
Dark denim blue texture

Kobalt is from Kylie Jenner’s collection “Denim & Bling” from Summer 2016.

The formula is really good and so easy to work with. Coverage is good too – it does cover in one single coat! I applied two coats anyway, because that’s the way I like it best. The drying time is pretty good.

I bought some holographic stickers from Aliexpress recently and decided to try them today. I attached them by using a pair of tweezers. I had to use a pair of old chunky tweezers because the newer and handier tweezers disappeared magically in the process. I still don’t know where they are, which is really weird.

Here’s my final manicure including a layer of topcoat.

I forgot to mention that this polish doesn’t dry up super textured. One layer of topcoat didn’t make all the grittiness go away though.

This is a nice colour polish, I like it.
