Mystery Polish: Hazel

Mystery Polish: Hazel
Described as a berry red jelly loaded with ruby red micro glitters and scattered holo flakes

Today I'm wearing a beautiful dark red polish packed with glitter, just the way I love my red polishes.

The formula is really good and the polish was easy to apply. The drying time was really good.

If there's something that's better than glitter, then it's glitter on glitter. So I added glitter. I sponged on a pink mix of glitters and hexes from Claire's. It's called Pink Confetti and it's got number 69412.

Here's the end result including a layer of topcoat.

Isn't that just pretty?!

Here's a photo of Hazel on its own. I'm wearing two coats and a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken with flash in my lightbox to show off the beautiful holo flakes.

Mystery Polish: Carla

Mystery Polish: Carla
A burgundy/wine red shimmer with mixed-sized silver holo glitters

The formula is good, but the glitters make it a bit tricky to get the polish close to the edges of the nails. The drying time of the polish is really good.

I stamped two discrete stripes on each nail. The stripes are found on the stamping plate "Nicole Diary L-04". I stamped with Color Club's silver holo "Harp On It".

This is the result, including a layer of topcoat.

This is the same thing. I really like the thin lines.

Carla is super pretty, but the glitter makes it a little bit "uneven" to look at. A layer of topcoat helps a lot, but it's still not quite smooth.

Mystery Polish: Lillian

Mystery Polish: Lillian
Described as a clear base packed with multichrome flakes of purple to blue to gold olive and holo glitters & blue micro glitters

"Lillian" will probably work on its own, but I decided to layer it anyway, because I often like the result of layering better.

So I applied one coat of Golden Rose's Matte Velvet #107. It's a gorgeous purple shimmer and it's not a one coater, but I only used one coat today because I was using it as underwear.

I applied one layer of "Lillian" over the purple.

Then I wanted even more bling. I applied a layer of China Glaze's silver/holo glitter topper "Techno".

I applied a couple of star silver stickers on top of that, but my nails were so blingy at this point, that the stars were barely visible.

But anyway, here it all is:

I love this bling!

I really like the outcome of all the blinginess today.

Mystery Polish: Breda

Mystery Polish: Breda
Described as a vibrant metallic polish with micro holo glitters and scattered holo flakes

"Breda" is really pretty, I love this turquoise colour and metallic polishes are almost always a hit in my book.

You can make this polish is two coats if you're careful. The formula is okay, but it is as if the glitters are suspended in a clear base instead of in a turquoise, so it's very easy to apply this polish in a patchy way - and end up with more layers to make it look the best. I did manage to make it cover in two coats. The drying time is good.

I didn't want to cover "Breda" up too much, so I just applied a couple of star-stickers onto my nails.

This is the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

Here's "Breda" alone; it's definitely vibrant!

Here are the two things I used today. Most of the stickers on this sheet are snowflakes, so I'll save them for later this year.

"Breda" is really gorgeous, I love wearing this!
