Masura: Frosty Cowberry

Masura: Frosty Cowberry
Red with metallic red flakes

Today's polish is red packed with metallic red flakes. It's absolutely gorgeous!

The formula is good and so is the coverage. I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time is good.

I made dots by the base of each nail with another metallic polish from Mara. It doesn't really seem to have a name but it's pretty nonetheless.

I topped it all with topcoat and here's the end result:

I like the simplicity of this and the colours are really nice in my opinion.

I was a bit disappointed when I unwrapped "Frosty Cowberry". I thought it looked a little bit boring in the bottle. Fortunately it really sparkles when applied to the nails so all disappointment has now disappeared.

Mystery Polish: Paola

Mystery Polish: Paola
Described as a green/blue shimmer base linear holo polish

First of all: I don't see this polish as a linear holo - to me it's scattered. The formula is good though. I used two easy coats for my nails and the drying time was good.

I added floral stickers onto my nails and then I sealed it all up with topcoat and my nails were done.

Here they are:

I think the silvery flowers look really cool on this base.

Essie: Surprise & Delight

Essie: Surprise & Delight
Red metallic

Essie has made another great collection of Valentine's polishes this year. I bought four out of six.

The formula is really good and easy to work with. The brush is wide and flat and fits my nails just perfectly. I used two easy and fast drying coats for full opacity.

The stamp is from the stamping plate "Nicole Diary-L07". I stamped with a baby pink shimmer stamping polish from Born Pretty Store.

I topped the whole thing with El Corazón's holo flakie topper 421h/25 and finished the whole thing with a layer of topcoat.

This is the result of the day:

I love the look of this.

Claire's: Virgo

Claire's: Virgo
Champagne gold with metallic shimmer

Virgos are loyal, kind, and hardworking. If your birthday is between August 23 and September 22, then this is you!

The formula is great and super easy to work with. I used two coats for my nails today and the drying time was really fast.

I made three neon pink stripes on each nail with Lady Rose's #746. Then I placed a butterfly nail sticker on top of the stripes.

This is what it looked like, including topcoat.

Claire's: Virgo

I really dig this!

Here's "Virgo" alone; two coats and no topcoat yet. Look how shiny the metallic effect is.

Colors by Llarowe: This Side Of Heaven

Colors by Llarowe: This Side Of Heaven
Turquoise jelly base with original UP pigment and Aurora pigment that shifts red to gold to green

"This Side Of Heaven" is from the Let's Head To The Beach-collection from April 2018.

The formula is really good for a jelly and I used two coats for my nails today. The drying time is good.

I added water decals onto my nails. I actually thought that these were more than a black outline so they would be more visible on the nails. Also I turned the one on my pointer upside down by accident :D

I dapped a tiny bit of glitter here and there. I used W7's "White Wedding" for that.

Here's the final result, including topcoat. I really like that shimmer!

I have become very fond of adding just a bit of glitter on my nails to spice everything up a bit.
