Orly ~ Life’s
a Beach
Bright neon
orange crème
I’m not done wearing neons yet. Sometimes it’s great
to wear something really loud on the nails. Life’s a Beach is such a loud
colour and I love it. It’s from the Pacific Coast Highway collection from summer
2016. I originally bought two polishes from that collection, but having tried
this one made me order two more!
I used two really easy coats for full opacity and the
drying time is good. Orly definitely knows how to make great neon polishes.
The brightness did freak my camera out a bit, but this
picture is colour accurate. Two coats, no topcoat:

Wow, right? There’s nothing discrete over this beauty.

I stamped on it. The motif is from the Moyra stamping
plate 04-Animalistic. I stamped with Colors by Llarowe’s stamping polish “The
Heart Bleeds”. It’s a raspberry red holographic stamping polish and it’s
beautiful. It’s not very easy to work with though. It dries a bit too fast and
it doesn’t let any stamper pick it up from the plate. Once it’s on the nails
it’s beautiful and I dare say that it’s worth the hassle.

I’m super pleased with this polish. I love neons that
don’t require white underwear and only two coats.
