Monki ~ Beetley

Monki ~ Beetley
Teal blue shimmer

Today’s polish is a gift from a very dear friend. It’s a lovely blue leaning teal shimmer. The formula is really good and so is the coverage. I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time was good.

The white on my middle finger is 418/1 from El Corazón’s “Iron Hard”-collection. It covers in two coats. On top of the white is a layer of Revlon’s “Holographic Pearls”, which is the same holo topper I used to make the stripes over the teal with. The dots are made with “Beetley”.

This is the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

This is such a nice shade!

Here are the three polishes I used to make my manicure.

Beetley is a really nice polish, the formula is good and so is the quality. What a great gift this was!

ANNY ~ Get Your Kicks

ANNY ~ Get Your Kicks
Pink textured polish with silver glitter

“Get Your Kicks” is from Anny’s series of “Desert Glam Effect” polishes, which means it’s glittery and textured.

The formula is no less than amazing. It’s so easy to work with and I honestly think I could have got away with one single coat. I used two coats anyway, mostly out of habit and because that’s what I like the best. The drying time is really good too.

I decided to make it simple today. I painted my ring finger nail white with El Corazón’s m&s-172, a matte shimmery white. I placed a water decal over the white. I found a dreamcatcher that matched the colours of “Get Your Kicks”. I applied a single layer of “Out the Door’s” holo glitter topper “Northern Lights” over the decal. I didn’t topcoat the other nails.

Here’s what it all ended up looking like.

ANNY ~ Get Your Kicks

It’s been ages since I wore a textured polish without topcoating it. I usually prefer it when they’ve got a shiny layer of topcoat over them, but this one was so glittery and shiny on its own that I wore it like that. And I liked it too!

Here’s the stuff I used for my manicure.

Ah, sometimes it’s nice with something simple. I think I might do more accent nail art in future. We’ll see how that goes.

Number of coats: 2

Finish: Texture with glitter
Overall impression: What a gem of a polish. It’s easy to work with, glittery and just amazingly blingy. I love it.

Terra Naturi ~ Magic Dust

Terra Naturi ~ Magic Dust
Sexy dark red shimmer

Today’s polish is brought home from Spain by a very dear friend. Terra Naturi is a brand exclusively by Müller so they are not available here. This is my first Terra Naturi polish and it looks just gorgeous!

The formula is really amazing and the polish glides on like butter. Easy to work with, great coverage and drying time. It’s a great polish in all aspects.

I topped it with El Corazón’s holo flakie topper 421h/25, which is a great topper to spice up polishes.

The stamping design is from the stamping plate BC-08 and I used the stamping polish “Bridal Veil” from El Corazón. It’s a shimmery white polish; a great polish where you want a more discrete white stamp.

This is the end result including topcoat.

Here’s two coats of Magic Dust on its own; no topcoat.

I love this polish, it’s a great quality, great colour, great finish polish. I hope that it’ll get a baby sister at some point, haha!
