Glisten and Glow ~ Bungee Jump in the Bahamas

Glisten and Glow ~ Bungee Jump in the Bahamas
Mint green crème

Today’s polish came in a mystery bag. I don’t usually buy pastel colours, but I must admit that I quite like this polish.

The formula is really good and caused no problems application-wise. I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time is good too.

I dapped on a bit of glitter before I stamped on it. I used Morgan Taylor’s “Jest-er Kidding” for that; that’s the glitter I showedyou on its own just the other day.

I stamped dreamcatchers and feathers on it. I really like the idea of dreamcatchers.

The Dreamcatcher history (from dreamcatcher.com):

The Ojibwa (Chippewa) believe that night is full of both good and bad dreams. When a dream catcher is hung above the place where you sleep it moves freely in the night air and catches the dreams as they drift by. The good dreams, knowing their way, pass through the opening in the center of the webbing while the bad dreams, not knowing the way, are caught in the webbing and destroyed at the first light of the morning sun.

I finally found a stamping plate where there are dreamcatchers that are so small that they actually make sense on my nails. The plate is called “ZJoy-Plus001”. I stamped with El Corazón’s black stamping polish.

Here’s the final result including a layer of topcoat.

This is two coats of “Bungee Jump in the Bahamas” on its own. It’s taken in ordinary daylight, no sun.

KBShimmer ~ Ruby

KBShimmer ~ Ruby
Warm blue toned red loaded with metallic flakes and a hint of holographic dust

I love shimmery and glittery reds – you probably already know that. It took me a long while to buy “Ruby”, which is a part of the Birthstone Collection from Summer 2016. The swatches I saw were so different that I was confused: I wasn’t quite sure whether this was a polish for me or not.

But it is! It’s a lovely shimmery and glittery red. The formula is fantastic and easy to work with. I used two easy coats for full coverage and the drying time was really good.

The design I stamped on is from the stamping plate UR Beautiful-18 and I stamped with a regular black stamping polish from El Corazón.

Look how pretty it all turned out! The photo is taken in ordinary daylight, no sun.

Here a photo taken in my lightbox.

And this is “Ruby” on its own; two coats and no topcoat yet. It’s as if there is pink shimmer in it as well.

This is the stuff I used today.

“Ruby” is absolutely gorgeous! I have a lot of glittery reds but this goes onto the list of favourites for sure. What a gem this is!

Number of coats: 2

Polished for Days ~ 2018

Polished for Days ~ 2018
Green to pink to blue to gold to green multichrome

“2018” is from the Polished for Days 2018 New Years Duo. This is a must-have if you’re into multichromes. The shift is amazing, no less.

The formula is good and so is the coverage. I used two really easy coats for full opacity and had no issues with application. The drying time is really good too.

Here’s the first picture I took of it. It’s two coats and a layer of topcoat and it is taken in ordinary daylight, no sun.
