Pahlish ~ Pride

Pahlish ~ Pride
Violet purple jelly with gold and pink flakes and a scattered holographic finish

Pride is a part of the Color4Nails exclusive collection: Seven Deadly Sins, that came out in Summer 2016. This is the only one out of the seven polishes I bought.

The formula is really good – I have come to expect that from Pahlish now. They really make great polishes. I used two easy coats for my mani and the drying time was good.

This is what two coats and no topcoat looks like. The picture is taken with flash:

I made dots on it because I love dots. The teal is also a Pahlish; a nameless one. It is marked with a “?” in the bottom of the bottle to indicate that this is a mystery polish. Pahish’s mystery polishes consist of random sample and test batch stock of unreleased polishes in the workshop. I’m a sucker for surprises, so I usually buy at least one mystery polish when I buy other Pahlishes. I also made some random white dots.

Here’s the final mani including a layer of topcoat.

This picture is taken in daylight and reveals the pretty flakes.

Pride is limited edition and it's still available.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Jelly with micro glitter and scattered holo effect
Overall impression: Great colour and lovely flakes, the quality is exquisite.

Morgan Taylor ~ Fit For a Queen

Morgan Taylor ~ Fit For a Queen
Red jelly with red glitter

I was in the mood to wear something red and glittery. I looked in the Helmer to find something special. My eyes fell on Fit For A Queen by Morgan Taylor. It’s a beautiful red jelly with red microglitter – just my kind of red. I looked up how long ago it is since I wore it last, and it’s two years ago! I showed it on the blog right here.

I used two easy coats for my mani and the drying time is good. It needs a layer of topcoat to come to life, so this is two coats and a layer of topcoat in the sun:

I took this other picture in low lights. I simply love polishes like this one.

I wore it like this and I loved it!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Jelly with micro glitter
Overall impression: I love it! The colour and the glitter is right up my alley

Anonymous Lacquer ~ Os To

Anonymous Lacquer ~ Os To
Deep magenta strong linear holo with a metallic-ish finish

Os To is a custom I had made for me and a very dear friend. I had two bottles made, one for her and one for me. "Os To" means “the two of us”.

The formula is a bit on the thick side but I prefer that. The coverage is really good; I could easily have got away with just one coat. I applied two though and the drying time was wicked fast.

Here’s two coats and a layer of topcoat in the sun:

Be still, my heart, be still. This is so gorgeous!

Here’s what it looks like in ordinary daylight, no sun. Such a pretty colour, there are still rainbows and the finish is fantastic.

I love this so much. I wore it like this, no nail art, just pure perfection.
Thank you, Mildred! ♥

Number of coats: 2, but 1 would have been enough
Drying time: Wicked fast
Finish: Linear holo, metallic finish
Overall impression: Wow, just wow! Everything about this polish is amazing.
Buy again: I would!
