Neon yellow crème

I wanted to wear something bright on my nails today, so I grabbed Claire's "Neon Yellow", because that is one bright yellow!

The formula is good for a yellow. I used three coats for my manicure today. I was almost happy with two coats but I wanted it to be perfect for the camera as well. The drying time was really good.

I made a few brush strokes with coral and turquoise. The coral is Orly "Blazing Sunset" that I wore the other day. The turquoise is Color Club "Pure Energy". I topped it all with China Glaze's holo glitter topper "Fairy Dust" before I moved on to stamping.

The stamping design is from the stamping plate "Moyra No. 112 Far Far Away". I stamped with a regular black stamping polish.

Here's the final design including a layer of topcoat.

I think this turned out really nice.

And here's how it looked just before I stamped on it. I like this alone, but I think it's really amazing how the stamping made it all come together.

Here's a funny picture of my Fairy Dust. I had stored it upside down and the polish stayed this way until I actually shook the bottle :D

Red toned purple linear holo

Yesterday I wore a faded polish and a dear friend of mine mentioned that her Colors by Llarowe "Loving Every Moment" had faded quite a lot. We compared our bottles with the photos I posted of it on my blog in 2015, and we were surprised to find that both our bottles of polish had faded, but hers had faded way more than mine had. Both bottles have been stored in a Helmer out of sunlight. Both bottles are equally old, but she has been using her polish more times than I have worn mine. I have only ever been wearing this polish once, whereas she has worn her a number of times. That's the only difference and I don't know if that explains the difference in how much they faded.

Anyway, the formula is still good and I still used two coats for my nails. The drying time is really good too.

I made a gradient stamp by the base of each nail. The stamp is from the stamping plate "Mezerdoo35". I used a purple and a white stamping polish for the gradient.

I still like "Loving Every Moment" even though it has faded but I definitely liked it better before. Both because of the "deeper" shade of red toned purple but also because the rainbows were much more playful before.

Described as purple linear holo with holographic micro glitters, mine is faded so it's now pink linear holo with holographic micro glitters

"Copa Girls" is from Las Vegas Showgirls Collection from Summer 2015. My bottle has been sitting in a cool and dark space, and it has still faded terribly. It is no longer purple. It is now pink and fortunately I really like the pink it has faded into.

The formula is still good. I used two coats for full opacity and the drying time is good.

I considered to wearing it on its own, but went with two rows of dots instead: A purple row of dots and a turquoise one.

It's incredible how much "Copa Girls" has faded. I am glad that it at least faded into a nice colour.

Christmas red with holographic shimmer

"Reindeer Games" is another polish I bought in a blog sale - can you believe how pretty polishes people get rid of!? "Reindeer Games" is from Christmas 2016.

The formula is really good and the polish is easy to apply. The polish dries really fast so don't use too many brush strokes per nail.

I applied a Minnie Mouse-sticker on my ring fingers and my thumbs. I couldn't quite decide whether I wanted dots or stripes on the other nails so I went with a combination. The design is from the stamping plate "UR Beautiful-14". I stamped with a baby pink stamping polish from Born Pretty Store.

I topped it all with topcoat and here is the final design in the sun:
