ILNP (I ♥ Nail Polish) ~ Washing
Ashore
Described as
an incredibly strong multichrome; from a glowing teal to a rich and vibrant
purple
I usually love ILNP’s polishes. The colour shifters
are amazing and the strong holos can almost make me swoon. Today I’m not that
impressed with the colour shift, I will show you why in a moment.
The formula of the polish is really good and I used
two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time is good too.
Here’s what it looks like. Two coats and no topcoat:
I don’t think the colour shift is “incredibly strong”
and perhaps I might be colour blind but I don’t see purple either. I see teal
and blue. My BF has exactly the same opinion. It’s still a very nice polish
though, just not quite what I expected.
There are ways around that though! I made purple dots
on half of each nail. I used Picture Polish’s Hussy for that, and when that was
dry I added a layer of Out the Door’s Northern Lights holo glitter topper.
This, dear friends, is my final mani:
Now that’s way better!
Here are the three polishes I used.

You are right, the shift isn't impressive, but the color itself is so you, I think :D Looks nice with the additional nail art!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I do like the colour, but... yeah, you know what I mean :D
DeleteYes, the colour shift isn't much strong, but it's a lovely teal and looks OK with the nail art :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
