Tonic Polish ~ Amends

Tonic Polish ~ Amends
Dark purple with teal shimmer, holo flecks and gold holo microglitters

Today's polish isn't a typical Summer polish but never mind; it's a very pretty dark purple with tons of shimmer, flakies and microglitters.

The formula is good and easy to work with and the drying time is really good. I used two easy coats for full opacity.

I placed nail stickers on three of my nails and then I topped it all with a layer of fast drying topcoat.

This is the final result. The photo is taken in the lightbox to show off the pretty shimmer. It makes the polish look duochrome.

Kiko ~ #531 Pearly Green Butterfly

Kiko ~ #531 Pearly Green Butterfly
Green packed with shimmer

Today I'm wearing a really pretty green oldie from Kiko; #531 Pearly Green Butterfly. It's a lovely green packed with shimmer and last time I wore it was over four years ago.

The formula is really good and super easy to work with. I used two easy and fast drying coats for full opaciry.

I stamped a white flower by the base of each nail. The flower is on the stamping plate "JR-79". I used an ordinary white stamping polish for that. The dot in the middle of the flower is made with "Orchid", a stamping polish from El Corazón".

I topped it all with ordinary topcoat and this is the final result:

I think this is really pretty.

This is "#531 Pearly Green Butterfly" alone; two coats and no topcoat.

Color Club ~ Sorry, Not Sorry

Color Club ~ Sorry, Not Sorry
Pink rosegold shimmer

Frost Bite is from Color Club's Oil Slick Collection.

The formula is good and I used two coats for my manicure. The drying time was really good.

I made red and white dots on it because I didn't know what else to do with it.

Here's my final result, including a layer of El Corazón's holo flakie topcoat 421h/25.

Color Club ~ Sorry, Not Sorry

I have made this dotty design many times and I love it each time I do it. I think it's super pretty!

Color Club ~ Sorry, Not Sorry

This is "Sorry, Not Sorrry" alone; two coats and no topcoat. I could see the brush strokes but I don't mind that.

Here are the polishes I used for my manicure today.

"Sorry, Not Sorry" is a nice colour and I like the finish. I have seen swatches that show this polish as duochrome. I didn't see duochrome-ness on my nails in real life, so I don't know what the swatchers did to get that on their pictures. It's a nice looking polish though, duochrome or not.

Overall impression: I like the finish a lot, and the formula is nice

Color Club ~ Frost Bite

Color Club ~ Frost Bite
Ice blue with pink shimmer

Frost Bite is from Color Club's recent Oil Slick Collection.

The formula is pretty good and I used two coats for my manicure. Girls with bigger and/or longer nails than me might need three coats for full opacity. I couldn't avoid brush strokes, but the drying time was really good.

The stamp is from the stamping plate "BeautyBigBang XL-017". I stamped with two stamping polishes from El Corazón: "Orchid" and "Nephritis".

Here's my final result, including a layer of topcoat.

Color Club ~ Frost Bite

I really like stamping with two colours and I think it really works over "Frost Bite" as well.

Color Club ~ Frost Bite

This is "Frost Bite" alone; two coats and no topcoat. You can see how the pink shimmer makes it look duochrome. I like that effect!

"Frost Bite" is too pale for me to wear alone, but it's great with some nail art on top.
