Chaos & Crocodiles ~ Bwahaha
Clear base with 3 sized
circle glitters, stars and hexagons; purple neon, holo, metallic and matte
glitters
Do you know the feeling of loving everything about a polish? That’s how
I felt when I saw this Bwahaha made by Chaos & Crocodiles. I absolutely
love the brand name – I have a soft spot for Crocodiles and never expected it
seen in connection with nail polish! "Bwahaha" is a really funny and cool name.
And glitters, well, you must know by now that I love it! ♥
Bwahaha is a
clear base absolutely packed with lovely glitter in various sizes, shapes and
colours. I spent a fair time considering which polish I should layer it over.
Black was just too obvious, and so I
chose the most vibrant blue I’ve got: China Glaze “Frostbite”. (There’s a pic
at the end of the post).
When the
base colour was dry, I applied the glitter. I have never ever seen so much
glitter in one bottle. When I review glitters, I usually dip the brush only once
in the bottle per nail, so that I can accurately report on the product density,
without misleading anyone. But I actually had to wipe some of the glitter off the brush for each dip, here. I
didn’t have enough room on my nails for what the brush scooped out with each
single dip in the bottle, LOL!
I had to dap
the glitter around with the brush to spread it out, but that’s quite normal for
a glitter like this. When that was done I applied a layer of Gelous, and after
that: A layer of Poshé topcoat. Let me show you how pretty it is:
I love the
mix of glitters! I never thought I’d like the XL circle glitters, but it’s just
perfect in this mix!
Isn’t this
just a fantastic mani? Look, there’s stars!
I’m glad I
picked this vibrant blue as my base. I wanted to make sure that the pink and purple
popped nicely, and that just works!
I’m
impressed!
I promised
you to show you the base colour alone. So here’s two coats of China Glaze’s
“Frostbite”. It’s the most vibrant blue I own. Delicious, huh?
There’s
another cool thing I want to show you! Each bottle of Chaos & Crocodiles is
delivered with 3 little origami stars:
Verdict:
You have probably guessed that I *really* like this glitter. I liked it
even before I tried it on! There was just as much glitter in the bottle as
could possibly be fitted in. The consistence was a bit thick, perhaps - but it
wasn’t the clear base, it was because of the glitter. Be prepared for some
pushing around with the brush – but it’s oh SO worth it. Yes Yes! Oui Oui! Si Si! Ja Ja! Da Da!
