Foxy Paws ~ One More Night

This Foxy Paws polish has been sitting in my stash of untrieds for a while, waiting for summer to end and for darker seasons to come. Not that I let the seasons dictate which polishes I wear, but it’s just recently that I thought that it is time to use this prettiness.

One More Night is from the 80’s collection. The formula is great and so is the pigmentation. I used two coats for full opacity, and drying time between coats was pretty good.  I applied a layer of H K Girl topcoat for the pictures:

I like the splash of holo glitter added. It makes this polish so much more than “just a duochrome”.

It’s not the easiest thing in the world to catch the duochromatic effect on camera, but I did my very best. The effect is more visible in real life than it is on my pictures.

I wanted to try one of my new stamping polishes on it. I recently bought Mentality’s “Wily”, which is a soft pink holographic nail polish with blue flashes. I chose a wavy design from my XL stamping plate “B”. I finished off with another layer of H K Girl topcoat, and here’s the final mani:

I really like this, even though I must admit that I thought that Wily would be more prominent, knowing that it’s designed for stamping. I have actually bought three of Mentality’s stamping polishes, so I think I’ll make a separate post with those three only, to show off how they stamp over, for example, black. Isn’t that a cool idea?
