Gothic Gala Lacquers ~ Something F*cky

Dark teal with holographic effect

Something F*cky is hard to describe. It’s something in between blue and green, petrel and dark turquoise. Let’s just call it teal! :)

The formula is good and easy to work with. It takes two coats to make this baby shine the most, and drying time in between coats is good. There’s no need to use an aqua basecoat for this, any ol’ basecoat will do.

And girls, you’re going to like this if you’re into teals! Here’s a picture taken with flash: Two coats, and no topcoat:

Here it is from a different angle to make those rainbows pop. Still taken with flash:

The colour changes in lower lights. There’s still a hint of those pretty rainbows, but the colour gets darker and much deeper.

Isn’t this just a pretty colour?

I decided to go stamping on this. I used a stamping plate from Bundlemonster; BM-305 for all the designs I chose. First I stamped a zig zag-design with Color Club’s “Angel Kiss”, which is a light green very linear holo.

Then I stamped on little devils and devil’s tale with a no name black stamping polish. Here’s the final design photographed with flash:

I must admit that I’m sincerely and deeply impressed with how Gothic Gala has stepped up the indie polish ladder lately. Everything just seems to work with all of them, both formulawise and colourwise. Sweet as!!
