Ooh La Lacquer ~ Wine Thirty

Purple linear holo

Today I’m going to show you a polish with a funny name: Wine Thirty. I like the name, I think it’s a great pun, but I must admit that the name also puzzles me a bit. I would expect a wine coloured polish, and I have read someone describing it as maroon, but my Wine Thirty is definitely not maroon. Hold on, I’ll show you in a minute.

The formula is good and really easy to work with. And! It’s a one coater!! I did apply a second coat but I honestly couldn’t see that it made a difference. Yay, I love one coaters. The drying time is good too.

So here’s two coats and no topcoat taken with flash:

It sure looks purple to me! And what a lovely purple it is.

I ended up making stripes on it. I used a blue glitter striper from Golden Rose with the number 136, and a black striper from Claire’s.

The polishes:

Wine Thirty is a great polish, maroon or not. I definitely recommend it to purple lovers.
