Walking down Memory Lane with Eat Sleep Polish: Raspberry Gummy Bear

Walking down Memory Lane with Eat Sleep Polish: Raspberry Gummy Bear
Raspberry red linear holo

There aren't many brands that I only have one bottle of. I like polishes at least in pairs, that way they don't feel quite so alone in the Helmers. But once in a while I buy that odd bottle that gets to stay single, and this "Eat Sleep Polish" is such a polish. I bought it in a blog sale four years ago. I had plans of buying a sister for "Raspberry Gummy Bear", but I never found one. I don't know if the brand is even still available, so I have decided that it's okay that this one is alone.

The formula is still good and it still covers in two easy coats. It hasn't thickened over the four years either, so it's still a great polish. The drying time is really good.

I made a line and some dots on it, first with Color Club's "Halo-Graphic" and then with "Raspberry Gummy Bear" on top of that.

This is the final result, including a layer of topcoat. I took my photos with flash today because they sun didn't want to come out and play.

Born Pretty Store: Blue Love

Born Pretty Store: Blue Love
Blue strong linear holo

Holo is my favourite finish. I love glitter, flakies, duochromes and shimmers. But holos - they are the best. Especially the strong ones; the more rainbows, the better!

"Blue Love" from Born Pretty Store is a strong linear holo. The formula is really good and the polish covers well too. One coat did the trick. I did add a second coat but it honestly didn't make much of a difference. The drying time is good.

I made a couple of pink and white strokes with a striper brush. Then I topped it with topcoat.

Here's the final result in the sun:

Pahlish: Sleeping Atacama

Pahlish: Sleeping Atacama
A bright sky blue with holographic flakes and rich green/gold/blue shifting microflakes

"Sleeping Atacama" is from the "For The Love Of Polish"-box for May. The theme is Desert Bloom.

The formula is great just like I've come to expect from Pahlish's polishes. I used three coats for my nails today but the third coat didn't make that big a difference. The drying time is good.

I stamped an orange flower by the base of each nail. I found the flower on the stamping plate "PY-X008" and I stamped with Colour Alike's "Dance Fever".

I topped it all with El Corazón's holo flakie topper "421h/25".

Here's the final result:

Polished For Days: Super Bloom

Polished For Days: Super Bloom
A purple base with teal-pink shifting iridescent shimmer, teal-blue-purple shifting iridescent flakes and holographic micro flakes

"Super Bloom" is from the "For The Love Of Polish"-box for May. The theme is Desert Bloom.

The formula is great and easy to work with. I used two coats for full opacity. The drying time is really good.

I made a blue and a magenta line on each nail and attached a small black and white flower on my ring finger nails.

I topped it all with "Northern Lights", a holo glitter topper from Out The Door.

This is the final result in the sun:

I really like the result of this. The mix of shimmer and flakes and holo is great.

Here's the same thing in the light box to show the colour shift. It's purple down the middle and almost magenta in the sides. I love it.
