Top Shelf Lacquers: For Pete's Sake

Top Shelf Lacquers: For Pete's Sake

Described as a super shifty multichrome polish that shifts from dark blue to deep purple to red and green. It is loaded with chameleon flakes that shift from pink to orange to green. The base is also scattered with tiny holographic glitter.

For Pete's Sake is from the Polish Pickup group for March 2018.

The formula is on the thick side but easy to manage anyway. I used two coats for desired opacity and the drying time was good.

The stamp is from the stamping plate "BP-L005" from Born Pretty Store. I stamped with "Sweet Dreams" from Colour Alike.

Here's the end result in the sun.

This is "For Pete's Sake" in the sun; two coats and no topcoat.

Here are the things I used today.

I really like the flakies in "For Pete's Sake", but the base is a bit too dark for me.

"For Pete's Sake" was limited edition and is no longer available.

 Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Duochrome with flakies and glitter
Overall impression: I like the flakies, but the base it a bit too overwhelmingly dark for me.

Buy again: No
