Youstar: #05

Youstar: #05
Dark blue shimmer

Youstar #05 has been living in a box of untrieds for a really long time with two of her sisters. I wore the first sister yesterday and am going to wear the third sister tomorrow.

The formula of the polish is a crelly, which isn't my favourite formula. I used three coats for full opacity. The drying time is really slow.

I made it into a foil manicure. I applied a layer of foil glue and then applied the silver hearts onto it. It was super easy and just worked. I applied a layer of glitter over it: China Glaze's "Wildflower Hour".

Here's the final result including topcoat.

Isn't that just pretty?

This is #05 alone; three coats and a layer of topcoat.

Here are the things I used today.

This polish and its two sisters were bought in Germany by a friend of mine. She originally bought them for herself but sold them to me when she got back home. I am still not a huge fan of the crelly formula so I will move this one on to a better home.

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Slow
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: It's a nice colour, but the three coats and the slow drying time puts me off

Youstar: #07

Youstar: #07
Sky blue shimmer

Youstar #07 is one of those polishes that has lived in a box of untrieds for years and years. It lived there with two sisters, and now is their time to shine.

The formula of the polish is like a crelly. I used two coats for my nails today but three would have been better. The drying time is really slow, that's why I only used two coats.

I applied floral nail stickers onto some of the nails and dapped a bit of pink/white/black glitter onto the nails as well. The glitter is Claire's "Sequins".

Here's the final result including topcoat.

P2: #050 End Up Glamorous

P2: #050 End Up Glamorous
Silver with shimmer and glitter

We've finally reached the last polish from P2's older collection "Lost In Glitter". I bought six of them so my work is done for now.

This last glitter works on its own. It took two easy and fast drying coats to achieve full opacity. What a great base for nail art this is!

I stamped on it. The stamping design is from the stamping plate "Mezerdoo B4". I stamped with two different stamping polishes from Colour Alike: "Self Control" and "B. a Rudolph".

I topped it all with topcoat and here's the final result:

I love the mix of colours on the stamping design.

This is "End Up Glamorous" alone; two coats and a layer of topcoat. I think this looks amazing!

P2: #030 Start Wild

P2: #030 Start Wild
Green jelly with green and holo glitter

Here's the second last polish from P2's older collection "Lost In Glitter". I bought six of them and there's only one left to try now.

The green jelly is really sheer so I decided to layer this over a grass green polish from H&M called "Wildstyle". I applied two coats of "Start Wild" over the green base. The formula is really good and easy to work with. I used two coats over the green. The drying time is good.

I placed little butterflies on my nails. The butterflies are water decals. I topped it all with topcoat and here's the final result:

P2: #060 Be Divine

P2: #060 Be Divine
Blue jelly with purple glitter

Here's the fourth polish from P2's older collection "Lost In Glitter". I bought six of them so I'm more than halfways through them now.

The blue jelly is really sheer so I decided to layer this over a deep purple from Golden Rose. I applied two coats of "Be Divine" over the purple base. The formula is really good and easy to work with. I used two coats over the purple. The drying time is good.

I stamped stripes on it; a white and a hot pink. The stripes are from the stamping plate "Nicole Diary-L04". I stamped with El Corazón's stamping polish "White" and Colour Alike's stamping polish "Fuchsia Flash".

Here is the end result, including a layer of Top Shelf Lacquer's holo microglitter topcoat "It's Not What You Drink".
