China Glaze ~ We got the Beet

Red toned purple with golden shimmer

We Got the Beet is from China Glaze’s summer collection from 2016: Lites Brites.

The formula is okay and the polish covers in two coats. The drying time is really good, so no worries there either. I had expected to use three coats of this one, so that went better than expected, and I had read somewhere about it having a terrible formula - but as reported above, I didn’t experience that myself.

This is how pretty it looks like in the sun.

 

It is a tone darker out of the sun, but I didn’t photograph that. Instead I added LOL from Color Club’s recent Nailmoji collection. It’s a clear base packed with little emojis. I fished an emoji up for each nail and placed it before dapping some of the blue, purple, black and white glitter onto the nails as well. A layer of topcoat completed my mani.

The little emojis are really cute. My nails are curved though, so they did stick out a bit. Fortunately I have practiced not to pick them, haha! :D
