Berry coloured scattered holographic

This polish has been sitting in my stash of untrieds for much longer than I care to think about, and I don’t know why, really - because it’s a really lovely holo! I received it in a swap with my friend Anastasia from Little World of Coloured Nails.

I love berry coloured polishes and it’s only a bonus if they’ve got a holographic effect, scattered or linear, it all works!

I used my regular basecoat, and the formula was really great. Two coats is what it took. Drying time was good. The only thing that I noticed was that the polish got a really odd smell to it. Not a really bad one, just weird. But hey – it’s not a problem, just an observation!

The sunshine makes the polish look as if it glows from within, I really, really like that!

I had sponging in mind for this baby, but I changed my mind at the last minute. I went for dots instead because I figured that the berry colour would go really well with A England’s “Tristam”, which is a blue scattered holo. The perfect mate for the Dance Legend if you ask me. You don’t have to take my word for it though – take a look for yourself:

I like that the dots have different sizes and that they’re not all over the entire nail.

- The two scattered holos work really great together!

There’s a layer of H K Girl topcoat over it btw, just to finish the mani.
