The Sun has got his hat on, and has come out to play today, and you know what that means! Holo weather, yay! Will I ever get tired of holos? I hope not!

I remembered having some problems with my previous Nabi, so this time I used my aqua basecoat and that solved all problems like magic! The polish glided right on, no problems with bald spots or dragging whatsoever. Nice! I used two coats for desired opacity, and girls, I really like Nabi’s holos. Take a look:

I really like the colour and the finish of this! The holo isn’t prominent, but it shows and I like it!

Then I did some stripes on them. I started with OPI’s “Mad About You” which is a delicate soft pink crème. I striped about two thirds of each of the nails, and when that was dry I striped the lower third with another Nabi holo. It’s labelled as “05 L. Pink”, but I didn’t order light pink and the polish is definitely not light pink, so I think they labelled it wrong. I think it’s “04 Sky Blue”.

And here’s what that looked like without topcoat: 

I decided to topcoat it, and then something happened. I know from earlier experiences that the Nabi holos are noticeable bleeders, which means that their colour rubs off on other colours when topcoat is added. And that’s exactly what happened. I took a picture after having applied topcoat on my pinkie and my ring finger, so you can see what a huge difference it makes: 

Isn’t that amazing??? I was stunned! The look changed dramatically and the holo turned into a neon too. Here is a picture where there’s topcoat on all the nails:

I love, love, love the look of this! It’s so much different than I expected it to be, but I think it’s fabulicious!
