Color Club ~ Hey
Gorgeous
Deep red,
vampy shimmer
Yesterday I showed you an old Color Club, Ultra
Violet, which came out in 2009. I know that Hey Gorgeous is an oldie too, but I
am not quite sure how old it is. I bought my bottle recently though, so it’s still
available.
And I must admit that “Hey Gorgeous” is a great name
for it! The polish is super gorgeous. The formula is good too, and I could
easily have got away with one coat. I applied two and it did make a tiny bit of
difference in depth.
Here’s two coats and no topcoat:
Hey Gorgeous! :D
I made some stripes with another Color Club: Lion’s
Den. It’s from the Safari Garden collection from spring 2014. It’s a a golden
base with bright copper and gold sparkle. There’s also a slight duochrome color
shift between golden yellow and coppery pink. I think it’s beautiful, even
though gold isn’t my favourite colour :)
I painted stripes on my nails with Lion’s Den. Here’s
my final mani, including a layer of topcoat to seal it all up.
I think the vampy red goes really well with the
golden/copper.
Both these Color Clubs are keepers in my opinion.
Number of
coats: 2 (but 1 would have been enough)
