Color Club ~ Pure Energy

I’m on a Color Club roll at the moment! Color Club was one of the first brands that kicked off this entire tour down Polish Lane, and it will always have a special place in my shimmery heart. I’ve still got a few untried Color Clubs I bought recently, and I might wear another one tomorrow, who knows.

Pure Energy is from the Electro Candy collection from summer 2009.

The formula seem a bit sheer, which is a bit unusual for a neon. It’s easy to work with though and it builds up fast. I used two coats for my mani. Girls with longer and/or bigger nails than mine might want to add a third coat for full opacity. The drying time is good, I had no issues with that either.

The stamp is from a Fauxnad plate called QA24 and I stamped with my faithful purple fake OPI “Suzy skis in the Pyrenees”. When that was dry I applied a layer of topcoat. I’m holding the fake OPI in my hand here – it’s so fake they even put it in a NOPI shaped bottle, haha!

This is two coats of Pure Energy on its own. It’s a really nice blue.

Oh yes, I still love Color Club.
