Dark red crème

Catrice recently made a collection of makeup and nail polishes based on Disney Villains. They came out with three nail polishes and I bought all three of them.

I have already shown you the polish based on Cruella (Smoke), and today I’m showing you the polish based on Queen Of Hearts: “Red Roses”.

The formula is amazing and the polish covers in one single coat. I used two coats – but the second coat didn’t make much of a difference, if any at all. The drying time was good.

I placed nail stickers on it – flowers and a heart. I topped it all with Nails Inc’s golden micro glitter topper “Harper Road”.

I was super lucky to see the sun today, so here’s the final result in the sun:

I love this!

Here’s “Red Roses” on its own, two coats and no topcoat. Look at how vibrant it is.

Here are links to the two other polishes in the series of Disney Villains:
010 Thorns (Maleficent)
020 Smoke (Cruella)

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Crème
Overall impression: Great formula and super pretty and vampy colour. I love it
Buy again: I would

  1. How fabulous that the second coat wasn't really needed. It's nice to have those polishes that only need one coat. The colour is gorgeous. You're right...this is such a great vampy colour!

  2. Red is not one of my favourite colours and I don't wear it often, but I love this kind of red, dark, it looks very "rich" and vampy! :-) I like the final floral manicure! :-)
