A2Z Challenge: D is for
Dark part II
Alright, let me show you another mani I did for the challenge. As I
mentioned in my post earlier today, I struggled with the Dark theme.
This is actually the first mani I made for the challenge:
The base colour is Lilypad Lacquer’s Angel of the Night, which is a
Norway Nails exclusive I bought a while ago.
The paint drips is made with Color Club’s Eternal Beauty – a gorgeous
purple linear holo that I love a lot!
I really like the effect of this.
Here are the two purples I used.
There are several reasons I didn’t use this mani for the challenge. The
first reason is that I had huge trouble with it. I originally wanted to make a
tape mani. I painted two layers of the Lilypad on my nails. I waited for a long
time between the coats and when it was completely dry I painted a layer of
Poshé topcoat over it. Then I waited some more. But the tape still pulled the
base colour off! Grrrr!!! After two attempts I decided to not do a tape mani –
and instead make the paint dripping mani in this post.
I wanted something a little more challenging for this challenge, so I
decided to make the eclipse mani instead of this one.
Do you like this?
Here are what the other girls did:
