Swatches
Today I’m going to show you three polishes I bought in Sweden ages ago. They’re all from
the brand Manic Panic, and they wanted to get out of the infamous box of
untrieds. Today’s the day they’re gonna shine on the blog!
I’ll start out with Heavy Metal,
which is a black base with tiny silver glitter. It reminds me a little bit of
OPI’s Metallic for Life, except that the glitters are tiny in Heavy Metal.
The formula is good and the polish is easy to work with. It builds up nicely in two coats and the drying time is good too. No worries whatsoever.

Here’s a picture of two coats and no topcoat:
On this picture you can see how nicely looking the bottle is too.
I applied a single star by the base of each nail –nothing fancy, it’s
just nail stickers. I sealed it all up with a layer of Essence’s “Gel Look
topcoat”. Take a look:
♥
The second
polish up is Blood Thirsty. I would have thought that a polish with a name like
that would be red, or at least have red in it, but no. Blood Thirsty is deep
purple, a gorgeous colour!
Again, great
formula, easy application and two coats for the swatches. Drying time is good
too.

Isn’t that
purple just amazing?
I made three
dots on each nail with Heavy Metal. It’s subtle but I love the effect it gives.

The last one
up is also the last Manic Panic I’ve got: Hellfire. It’s a black base with red
microglitter. No problems with the formula or the drying time. I used two easy
coats for these pictures.
Here goes –
two coats, no topcoat:
Deep and
vampy!
The red
glitters aren’t quite prominent enough, I do wish they would have shown
themselves more. I added more glitter. I used a Golden Lady polish with the
number 412 – it’s a clear base with lavender microglitter and I thought it’d
fit the red microglitters well. You judge:
Verdict:
I’m impressed by the quality of Manic Panic, the formula and coverage is really good. I’ll definitely check for more next time I’m in Sweden – I’ll let you know how that goes :)

All look well and my favourite mani is the one with stars.
