Colors by Llarowe ~ Paper Moon

Colors by Llarowe ~ Paper Moon
Purple strong linear holo

I absolutely love holographic polishes, it's my all time favourite finish. The polish world changes a lot, from glitter to crackle, from duochrome to flakies, from holographic to contrasting shimmers and so on. It seems to me like it has been a while since the indie makers have spent time making crazy holos. Yes, I like flakies, shimmers and glitters too, but I've been buying a lot of mainstream polishes lately because if I can't have holos - well, then I might as well buy mainstream. There are lots of shimmers and colour shifters in the drugstores to one fifth of the price of an indie polish.

The sun is shining today and I wanted rainbows on my fingertips. I dug out an oldie, but goodie from Colors by Llarowe. CbL makes amazing holos, I love them all. I think today's polish is from 2013, so it's not new.

The formula is great and I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time is really good.

The stamp is from the Moyou London's stamping plate "Kitty Collection-03". I stamped with KADS' stamping polish #11.

I added glitter as well! I used Color Club's "Pinky Swear" for that and I only brushes it by the bases of my fingernails.

Here's the final result including topcoat. The photo is taken in the sunshine.

This is the same thing in the lightbox to show off the stamp and the pretty glitter.

Here's "Paper Moon" alone; two coats and no topcoat. The sun makes the rainbows come out, they look so amazing.
