Ooh La Lacquer ~ Started from the Bottom

Ooh La Lacquer ~ Started from the Bottom
Magenta linear holo with a small dash of microglitter

The formula of this polish is really good and so is the coverage.

I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time is pretty good.

The stripes are from the stamping plate “Feeling Shapely! 01” from Lina and I used Max Factor’s “Burgundy Crush” for the stamping. It’s a regular polish which really works for stamping. My boyfriend bought it to me a long time ago :)

Here’s my manicure photographed in the sunshine.

Isn’t that just pretty? I really like how this looks.

This is “Started from the Bottom” alone, two coats and no topcoat. This is photographed with flash.

Here are the stuffs I used today.

“Started from the Bottom” is really beautiful. Ooh La Lacquer disappeared from the surface of the earth a couple of years ago, so the polish is no longer available.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Pretty good
Finish: Linear holo with a dash of microglitter
Overall impression: I like pretty much everything about this polish
Buy again: Yes

  2. Yes, it is really very pretty! :-) The only problem with holo polishes is that sometimes any kind of stamping can't "pop-out" easily, and it's always better to make a very simple stamping, they are so beautiful and strong on their own... :-)

    1. That's true and I seem to slap on a lot of shimmers lately. I still love my holos but shimmers also rock :)
