Ooh La Lacquer: Ectoplasmic Residue, faded
Originally a royal purple linear holo, now a brown linear holo

I have had “Ectoplasmic Residue” for a number of years now and it has changed colour dramatically. I was originally a gorgeous purple linear holo, I really loved the colour. Google it if you want to know what it originally looked like. Unfortunately my bottle changed colour before I even wore it.

The formula is still good though and so is the coverage. I used two fast drying coats for full coverage.

I made a yellow and a black stripe on each nail. Then I made two black dots and made yellow dots on top of the black dots.

Then my manicure was done and this is the final result. I managed to find a ray of sun for the photo.

Here’s “Ectoplasmic Residue” alone; two coats and no topcoat. Nice rainbows.

And here are the polishes I used today.

Ooh La Lacquer: Ectoplasmic Residue, faded

I am so sad that “Ectoplasmic Residue” changed colour. It’s not my first Ooh La Lacquer that faded or changed colour, which is a big shame. I guess the pigments weren’t tested quite long enough. Ooh La Lacquer has been out of business for over 5 years now.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Great formula and rainbows. Colour has changed dramatically
Buy again: No
