Rogue Lacquer: Nobody Likes a Soggy Bottom

Rogue Lacquer: Nobody Likes a Soggy Bottom
A minty green holo with blue, magenta and purple UCC flakes

"Nobody Likes A Soggy Bottom" is part of the group custom "For The Love Of Polish" for September 2020. September's theme was "The Great British Bake Off".

The formula is really good and so is the coverage. Finally a flakie polish that covers in two coats! The drying time is good too.

I stamped stars on it. The stars are from the stamping plate "SA-18". I stamped with a purple no name stamping polish from Born Pretty Store.

I topped it all with a layer of P2's holo glitter topper "Just Fantastic".

Here's the final result in daylight.

I kind of wish that I had stamped with a different colour. I wasn't 100% satisfied with the colour combo.

This is "Nobody Likes A Soggy Bottom" alone; two coats and no topcoat.

Here are the things I used today.

"Nobody Likes A Soggy Bottom" has the best formula of the three polishes in the trio. I like it a lot!

Here are links to the two other polishes in September's FTLOP box:

Pahlish: Star Baker
Polished For Days: Showstopper

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good

Finish: Flakie

Overall impression: Cool formula, nice colour and good looking flakie
Buy again: Yes

  2. I like the stamping, but I understand you when you say that you're not completely satisfied with the colour combo, maybe because the stamping polish is blue and also the glitter particles of "Nobody Likes A Soggy Bottom" are blue too... Very pretty polish! :-)

    1. I picked a stamping polish that I though would compliment the little particles. It just didn't quite work this time :D
