I didn’t realize that “Lil’ Red Riding Hood” was a topper when I bought it -  I thought that it was a polish that would work on its own. So anyway – I had to layer it over a red.

I started out with one coat of Golden Rose Color Expert #39. It’s a lovely bright red shimmer that covers in one single coat. I topped that with one coat of Claire’s “Lil’ Red Riding Hood”. The drying time is good.

I stuck on a white nail sticker on each nail and topped it all with a layer of topcoat.

I was lucky – the sun came out for a short while so I could photograph my nails in the sun:

I think I’ll use two layers of glitter next time. I like this, but I also like more glitter, haha!

Number of coats: 1 or 2 over a coloured base
Drying time: Good
Finish: Microglitter in clear base
Overall impression: I love red glitter, so thumbs up!
