1. I posted my first blog post on the 1st of September 2011. 

2. I got inspired from the nail polish blogs I found and wanted to see if I could make a blog so interesting that I'd actually get followers myself. 

3. I follow mainly nail polish blogs, but also a few make up blogs.

4. I just want to improve it all. I can see that practising makes better - I've improved a lot over the last 6 months.

Blog love awards

I got tagged twice by the lovely a girl and her polish - first the "I <3 your blog" and then "The 11 questions tag". I decided to make one single post about the two tags.

First the "I <3 your blog".

Here are the questions:

1. What is your favorite fashion magazine?
I don't have one. I never buy fashion magazines.

2. Who is your favorite singer/band? 

Umm... I have many. Green Day, Deep Purple and Ginger Ninja springs to mind.

3. Who is your favorite YouTube guru? 

David Armand. If you don't know him, look him up. He's a god!

4. What is your favorite make-up product?  

Mascara

5. Where would you like to live? 

Some place warm and nice

6. What is your favorite film? 

This is hard too because I have so many!

7. How many pairs of shoes do you own? 

Haha, a lot! And I mean: A lot. Call me Miss Imelda. :D

8. What is your favorite color? 

Red

And now to the other one, 11 questions:

1. What polish and color do you use the most?
China Glaze and purple. I still claim that Color Club is my favourite brand though.

2. What polish is number one on your wishlist? 

Umm... One of the gorgeous ones from the China Glaze OMG-collection.

3. If you could meet any celebrity who would it be? 

Michael Keaton.

4. What is your biggest goal in life? 

To have fun every day

5. What is your favorite piece of clothing? 

My home pants. Black and soft. I love them.

6. What is you favorite store to shop at? 

Hmm... depends on what I'm buying really.

7. What is your favorite book? 

Stephen King's "The Green Mile"

8. Who has been the best mentor in your life? 

My ex-boss, he taught me a lot.

9. Who would play you in a movie about your life? 

Oh, that is a difficult question.

10. What is your favorite candy? 

Delicious chocolate. Guylian for instance. Yummy!

11. What is the first thing you would buy if you won 1 million dollars? 

My apartment. On the spot.

1. Favourite coloured highlighter? 

I don't use that kind of stuff

2. Which house were you in at school?
Which house? I guess our school system is different than yours - I don't know what the question actually means. 

3. If you could keep any animal as a pet, what would it be? 

A tiger

4. Which camera do you use? 

A Canon, usually the pocket version

5. Favourite nail polish? 

Would be China Glaze's Atlantis. Oh the beauty of it!!

6. Last book you read? 

A travel book about Hungary :D

7. What is your dream vacation? 

Travelling across US

8. And dream job? 

When I was a kid I wished I could work in a bank. :)

9. Are you a hoarder?
Oh yeah...

10. Morning or night person?
Morning person, I *love* mornings!

11. Have you ever done a shopping ban?
Not really. I don't like limiting myself like that.

Versatile Blogger Award

Another award came my way - I am amazed! :)

Seven things about me:

1. My nail polish addiction is fairly new. It started only 4 months ago. I did paint my nails before, but I didn't develop the addiction until recently. I blame blogging! :D

2. I would love to get myself a dog. And a cat.

3. I hate snow!

4. I love to travel and experience new things!

5. My favourite colour is red, but my favourite colour nail polish is purple.

6. I love chocolate. White, milk, dark, it doesn't matter, it's all good. Just don't add raisins and stuff to it! *yuck* :D

7. I am a movie freak. I watch a lot of movies, but I never watch TV!

Here are my favorites:

Hand and body cream: Right now I'm using Dr. Scheller's Sea Buckthorn caring balm. 

Foundation: I don't use foundation at all. It itches and makes me look unnatural :D

Mascara: Maybelline Falsies is my all time favourite

Makeup Remover: I use a make up remover from the local drugstore. It's cheap and effective.

Base coat: Poshé is my favourite base coat. It dries very fast and it's a dream to work with.

Top Coat: Again, Poshé is the one I like best. Seche Vite comes in second. 

Nail polish brand: China Glaze, Color Club and Orly.And lots of lots of others...

Body Wash: Whatever they sell in the supermarket that smells good. :D

Perfume: Umm... Christina Aguilera's By Night.

Lip balm: I have lip balms in a gazilion of varieties, in every other pocket and in every room.
