Color Club ~ Date with Destiny

Color Club ~ Date with Destiny
Pale (pearly) lilac linear holo

Date with Destiny is from the latest collection of Halo Hues from Autumn 2015. I gave this one a miss at first, but then I found it on special on Black Friday – and suddenly remembered how I regretted not buying Harp on It at first and ended up paying overprice for it on evilBay! Do I bought it and thought I can always use it for stamping if everything else fails, haha.

The formula is really good and the polish covers in one single coat. I added an extra coat for the camera but couldn’t honestly see that it made a difference.

So here’s two coats and no topcoat taken with flash:

Pretty, yes? Here it is in low lights. I couldn’t quite catch the pearl-y look on camera.

It’s too pale for me to wear on its own. I paired it with two polishes Anastasia sent me, a blue and a purple. I dabbed the two polishes on with saran wrap (or cling film) and sealed the whole thing up with topcoat.

Here’s my final mani:

I quite like the effect the saran wrap gives.

Here are the three polishes I used. I don’t know the brand name or the name of the two Russian polishes, but I love the colours :)

Number of coats: 2 (but 1 was enough)
Drying time: Good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Great quality, good rainbows.
Buy again: Yes
