My Dance: #014LS revisited

My Dance: #014LS revisited
Black strong linear holo

I don't wear black much - I like it on others, but not so much on my own nails. Today's polish from My Dance is from Aliexpress and it's the second time I wear it. For some reason I put it back in the box of untrieds last time I used it.

The formula is still good and it took two coats to achieve full opacity. The drying time was good.

I painted pink and peach lines and dots with a couple of stamping polishes. Then I topped it all with a layer of topcoat, and here's the final result in the sun:

I didn't have anything particular in mind when I made the pattern, I just went with the flow.

Here's #014LS on its own; two coats and no topcoat. The photo is taken in direct sunlight.

Here are the three polishes I used today.

Like I said: Black is not my favourite nail polish colour on me. But the holo flames are amazing in this polish.

Sally Hansen ~ Thinking of Blue with My Dance ~ 001 LS

Sally Hansen ~ Thinking of Blue with My Dance ~ 001 LS
Dark blue crème topped with holo

I bought "001 LS" from My Dance as a silver holo. It looked a bit sheer though so I decided to use it as a holo topper.

So I chose "Thinking of Blue" from Sally Hansen as my base. It's an oldie in my collection and I can't even remember when I wore it last. I used two easy coats of that and the drying time was good.

I topped it with one coat of My Dance's "001 LS". It's sheer but actually only just sheer enough to work as a topper. It did grey the base colour a lot, but I still like the end result.

The silvery lines on my nails are water decals.

Here's the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

This is two coats of "Thinking of Blue" as the base, and one layer of holo goodness from My Dance: "001 LS". It created some lovely rainbows.

Here's "Thinking of Blue" alone; two coats and no topcoat yet.

This is the same thing in the shade. There are still rainbows, but you can see how much the holo greys out the blue. I'd still do it again though :D

I like it, that's all there is to say :D

My Dance ~ #014LS

My Dance ~ #014LS
Black linear holo

This polish is from Aliexpress and one of the only black holos I’ve got. I don’t wear black much – I prefer colours. But the holo effect won me over on this one.

The formula is good and it covers well. I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time was good.

I added a triangular stud by the base of each nail because I was in that kind of mood :D

Here’s the end result photographed with flash.

I love the blue flames in this polish a lot.

My Dance ~ 005 LS

My Dance ~ 005 LS
Pink strong linear holo

Here’s a quick mani I did when I was tired at looking at the green glitter from CND.

I used two coats of pink holo goodness for full opacity and the drying time was really good. These little bottles of holo polishes are really good!

The stamp is from Moyou London’s stamping plate Holy Shapes Collection-001 and I stamped with B. a Rudolph from Colour Alike.

This is the final mani, including a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken with flash.

Here’s the same thing in ordinary daylight, no sun. The colour is really pleasant.

This is 005 LS on its own. The picture shows two coats and no topcoat. It’s taken with flash. The rainbows are mesmerizing!

Here’s the stuff I used. I really like to have the stamping plate on the picture too :)
