Catrice: C03 Wrapped In Happiness
Coppery orange shimmer

C03 “Wrapped In Happiness” is another one third of Catrice’s 2022 Holiday collection “Sparks Of Joy”. I’ll link to the two others in the collection as I post them here on the blog.

The formula of “Wrapped In Happiness” is sheer. I used two coats and the drying time is good. I think I should have used three coats to get full coverage.

I stamped on it. The motif is from Moyou London’s stamping plate “Pro Collection-14”. I stamped with “Vinous” from El Corazòn.

This is “Wrapped In Happiness” alone; two coats and no topcoat.  The shimmer is quite amazing.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: Sheer formula with beautiful shimmer. The colour isn’t quite me, it’s a bit too Autumn-y.
Buy again: No

Dark nude crème

I don’t wear nudes much and I hardly ever buy them. I got this polish is a beauty grab bag. And you know the rule: No polish leaves the house without having been tried on first.

So: The formula is really good and so is the coverage. I used two coats to achieve full opacity. The drying time was really good.

I stamped on it. The design is from Moyou London’s stamping plate “Illusion Collection-02”. I stamped with El Corazòn’s stamping polish “Red Neon”. I topped it all with Out The Door’s holo glitter topper “Northern Lights”.

This is the final result:

The red makes a huge difference. I actually really like this.

Okay, I definitely wouldn’t have chosen this myself but I actually like this as a base colour and the formula is super nice. So it’s a keeper!

Overall impression: Great formula and drying time. Good base for nail art.
Buy again: No, but it’s still a keeper!
