NailNation 3000 ~ Polish me like one of your French girls

NailNation 3000 ~ Polish me like one of your French girls
Magenta linear holo

Today I’m wearing a really pretty polish from NailNation 3000. It’s called Polish me like one of your French girls, and I love that name.

I might as well tell you right away: I only took pictures of my final mani, and not of the polish by itself. It wasn’t on purpose though, I simply just forgot. I think it was because I’ve been cleaning the house all day, and my mind was simply elsewhere when I finally sat down to polish my nails.

But anyway, I can show you the final mani right here:

So, the base colour is Polish me like one of your French girls. Two easy and fast drying coats! Then I made the stripes with another NailNation 3000: See you on the other side, which I originally showed you here. I fucked up the nail art when I posted that, so I thought I’d give it another chance to shine on the blog :) The glitter on the base of my ring finger is “The Sea was Boiling hot” from Polish Revolution.

Here’s the mandatory low light picture. The PMLOOYFG is a little bit dull but still pretty imo! I’m holding See you on the other Side on this picture.

Here are the three polishes I used.

I’m sorry for the lack of pictures of PMLOOYFG on its own, but yeah, shit happens, doesn’t it :)

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Fast
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: Great quality polish, good drying time, pretty rainbows!

Polish Revolution ~ The Sea Was Rolling Hot

Polish Revolution ~ The Sea Was Rolling Hot
periwinkle, lilac, gunmetal and turquoise glitter in a clear base

‘The Sea Was Rolling Hot’ can be used both as a topper and on its own. I decided to try it on its own – it’s always nice to know what your polishes can actually do. It took three coats to build up to almost opacity and the drying time between the coats is pretty good.

I had a hint of sunshine, so take a look at three coats and a layer of topcoat in the sun:

The shininess almost made my camera freak out!

Here’s a lightbox pic that shows the colours a bit better.

I was unsure about what to do with it, so I took some cat nail stickers and stuck a cat onto each nail. Here’s my final mani in the sun:

And here’s a lightbox picture:

Aren’t those cats just adorable? I love them!
Next time I try to use this as a topper – I think I may prefer it that way :)

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: A bit faster than average
Finish: Clear base packed with glitter
Overall impression: Great mix of glitters. I think I would have liked the base to be tinted
