Bow Nail Polish ~ Doll Everyone

Bow Nail Polish ~ Doll Everyone
Neon pink with silver and holo flecks

Bow Nail Polish is made by Dance Legend, and Doll Everyone is from the Neonation collection.

The formula is a little bit thin but it builds up. I applied two coats but if I was going to wear it on its own I probably would have added a third coat. Drying time is good, no worries there.

I did things with it – look at my final mani:

I wanted to try some new tip guides I bought on evilBay. I placed one on each nail and painted a layer of deep purple shimmer polish on the tips. The polish I used is from Kicks and is called Tiffany Stone. I made three dots over the purple, applied a layer of topcoat and my mani was done.

This is a non-flash picture:

And here are the two polishes:

I quite like Doll Everyone, but I’m not totally convinced that it’s a keeper. I am not a huge fan of French tips so I actually didn’t like this very much before I made the dots. The dots made a really big difference though, so I ended up quite liking it.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Flecks
Overall impression: Nice colour, cute flecks
Buy again: Not quite sure

Kicks ~ 101

Kicks ~ 101
Purple based burgundy with blue micro flecks

I bought this polish in Sweden a brazillion years ago because I loved the look of the pretty flecks in it. Let us see if it lives up to my expectations, shall we?

The formula is good and it takes two coats to make it opaque. The drying time between the coats is pretty slow, unfortunately. But it’s real pretty, that’s for sure.

Take a look at two coats and no topcoat:

Nice colour, isn’t it? If I twist my fingers a little bit, you’ll also be able to see the pretty flecks:

Ooh yes, I loves them flecks!!

I stamped on it with my newest stamping plate from Moyou London. It’s called Punk collection-05 and I stamped with Penny Talk from Essie’s Mirror collection.

Here’s my final mani:

This pattern reminds me of flocked wallpaper, and if I had seen flocked wallpaper with little skulls for sale here, then I’d probably decorate at least one room with it :D

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Slow
Finish: Shimmer with microflecks
Removal: No problems
Overall impression: I love the colour and the flecks, but I’m not crazy about the drying time
Buy again: No
