Sweet Heart Lacquer ~ April Showers

Sweet Heart Lacquer ~ April Showers
Blue linear holographic with shifty flakes

April Showers is another polish I got in a grab bag, and it’s from April Addicted To Holos Indie Box 2015.
Please check out Sugar & Spice from Sweet Heart Lacquer as well! :D

The formula was really good and so was the coverage. I used two easy and fast drying coats for my mani.

Here’s two coats and no topcoat taken with flash:

Isn’t that just a pleasant blue? I really like it!

Here’s what it looks like in ordinary daylight, no sun.

I decided to spice it up with glitter. It’s a lose pot of glitter that I bought on Aliexpress. I applied a layer of topcoat and used my fan brush to get the glitter onto the nails. I sealed it up with another layer of topcoat.

Here’s my final mani:

April Showers was limited edition and is no longer available.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Linear holo with flakes
Overall impression: I like the quality and the colour of this, it’s a lovely polish
Buy again: Yes

Sweet Heart Lacquer ~ Sugar & Spice

Sweet Heart Lacquer ~ Sugar & Spice
Brown linear holographic with a pink flash and copper holographic glitter

I warned you yesterday that I was going to wear a brown polish today. It’s not a secret that I’m not a lover of brown, so I hardly ever buy them. Sugar & Spice came in a grab bag though, along with PurpleMist that I showed you yesterday. They are both from the October Addicted To Holos Indie Box 2015.

The formula was really good and it covered well. I used two easy and fast drying coats for my mani. And once the polish was on, I was quite amazed, because I actually like this polish! I can’t remember that I’ve ever said that about a brown before!!

Here’s two coats and a layer of topcoat taken with flash:

I made it into a tape mani. I used two orange polishes: El Corazón’s stamping polish “Orange Neon” and OPI’s “Living on the Bula-Vard”. I sponged the two orange polishes on, and topped the whole thing with Out the Door’s “Northern Lights” topcoat.

Here’s my final mani:

This is taken in daylight, no sun.

And here are the polishes I used.

Sugar & Spice was limited edition and is no longer available.

Overall impression: The only brown I’ve ever liked. It’s cool!
