Smitten Polish ~ SP2014 21

Smitten Polish ~ SP2014 21
Lavender purple linear holo

The polish I'm wearing today is a really gorgeous dark lavender linear holo. The formula is great and the polish covers well. I used two coats for my nails today and the drying time is really good.

I made to glittery lines on each nails with Essence's "Holo Fever". Then I attached a pretty little butterfly by the base of each nail.

Here's the final result including topcoat. This photo is taken with flash.

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 11

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 11
Grass green with holo microglitter

Today's polish is a lovely green microglitter. The formula seems a bit thin but the coverage is still good - I used two coats for full opacity. The drying time is really good. The polish dries flat.

I usually make some kind of floral nail art on greens like one. I decided to try and go for something else today: Pandas! The pandas are water decals and they were so easy to work with.

This is all topped with a layer of topcoat.

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 34

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 34
Sky blue linear holo with microglitter

Today I'm wearing a super pretty blue prototype from Smitten polish. I bought it in a blog sale recently - it amazing that pretty polishes like this one are even being resold!

The formula is really good and I used two fast drying coats for full opacity. The polish dries up completely flat, nothing sticks up from the nails.

I decorated my nails with wintery water decals. I have come to like water decals a lot because it's such an easy way to get really pretty decorations on the nails.

Here's the final result including topcoat. This first photo is taken with flash to show off the holo goodness.

Smitten Polish ~ Jack Frost

Smitten Polish ~ Jack Frost
Light blue jelly with holo microglitter

Jack Frost is from the Smitten Polish Winter/Holiday 2014 Collection. I bought it in a blog sale recently. And yes, I stumbled over two different blog sales recently and allowed myself to shop a bit. It’s been ages since I saw a good blog sale so this was just two great opportunities.

The formula is good and covers in two easy coats. The drying time is good too and the polish dries up flat and the glitter makes no bumps.

The stamp is from Born Pretty Store’s stamping plate “Geometry BP-X17” and I stamped with Colour Alike’s stamping polish “B. a Rainy Mood”.

This is the final manicure, including a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken with flash.

Here’s the same thing taken in ordinary daylight, no sun. The holo microglitter is stunningly beautiful.
