Color Club ~ Take A Chill Pill

Color Club ~ Take A Chill Pill
Sky blue crème

"Take A Chill Pill" is from Color Club's Summer 2019 "Whatever Forever" collection.

The formula is good and the polish is easy to work with. I used two coats for full opacity and the drying time was good.

The stamping didn't quite go as I expected it to. I used a design with hearts from Moyou London's stamping plate "Pro Collection XL-09" and I thought I was going to make a gradient of hearts with a dark blue and a white stamping polish. They didn't look like hearts at the end though, I have no idea why.

I topped with "Northern Lights", the holo glitter topper from Out The Door anyway, and this is the final result.

I quite like the colours together, I just wish that the hearts actually looked like hearts.

This is two coats of "Take A Chill Pill" alone; no topcoat yet.

Stamping plate Harunouta-L079 and multichrome stamper from Born Pretty Store

Stamping plate Harunouta-L079 and multichrome stamper from Born Pretty Store

Born Pretty Store has sent me a couple of more stamping plates and two stampers to try out for an honest review. Here's part II of that package.

The stamping plate that I'm using today is called “Harunouta-L079” and it looks like this. The plate is full of awesome designs and could easily end up being a favourite. Here's what it looks like:

Here is the link to the stamping plate:

I also want to show you the stamper that I'm using today. It's called "Rainbow handle Transparent Stamper". The handle is multicoloured, take a look:

The stamping head is transparent so you can see where you actually stamp, take a look at this picture taken through the stamper:

The stamper is listed here:

Let me show you the final result of my efforts today. Isn't this pretty?

The base colour is also a Born Pretty Store polish, it's an old one called #050. The stamping polish is "In Fire" and "Birth of the Queen".

The stamper looks really good and I'm happy with it. It is transparent and it's therefore very easy to see exactly where you place the design. Thumbs up from me.

Here are the things I used to do my nails today.

The verdict:

Pros:
Great quality stamping plate with cool designs
The stamper is really pretty and works perfectly

Cons:
None that I can think of

I highly recommend both the stamping plate and the stamper.

Kiko ~ Glitter Metal #003

Kiko ~ Glitter Metal #003
Orange/golden metallic shimmer

Kiko's Glitter Metal collection can be worn on its own, but it takes more coats than I'm willing to do. So I'm using them as toppers.

I used a bright orange as my base colour; Sally Hansen's "Say it Lycra Mean It". I used two coats of it, but I could have got away with one single coat. The drying time is really good.

I topped it with one layer of Kiko's Glitter Metal #003. It is a stunningly beautiful metallic shimmer. The formula is great and it leaves the sweetest effect of shimmerglitter on my nails.

I added a couple of butterfly stickers and made some dots on my nails. I used Coolcos' #115 for that.

Here's the final manicure.

This is one coat of Kiko's Glitter Metal #003 over two coats of Sally Hansen's "Say It Lycra Mean It".

Moyra ~ #1001 Reka

Moyra ~ #1001 Reka
Sky blue metallic with shimmer

Today's polish is another one of my polishes from Hungary. It's a lovely sky blue metallic shimmer from Moyra's Gel Look collection.

The formula is good and the polish covered in two coats. The drying time is really good.

The stamp is from the stamping plate "ZJOY Plus 029" and I stamped with a lovely purple shimmer stamping polish from KADS, number 11.

This is the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

I love the effect of the polish and also this stamp!

And here are the things I used today.

Reka is a lovely polish for sure. I don't think it's gel look though, not even with topcoat. It doesn't matter to me, since I bought it for the colour and the shimmer. Reka is a winner for sure!
