Painted Polish ~ Taupe Temptation

Painted Polish ~ Taupe Temptation
Taupe (greyish brown) strong linear holo with added silver holographic sparks

Yes, today's polish is brown. Or taupe. And let me say right away that no, I did not pick this polish myself. I got it in a grab bag, haha! It's nice for a brown polish though.

The formula is really good and I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time is really good too.

I decided to add something golden, just because gold and brown look great together. I found some Christmassy nail stickers and applied one on each nail. I topped the whole thing with topcoat and here's the final result photographed with flash:

This is the same thing under a lamp. Those silver holo sparks makes this polish sparkle in all sorts of lights.

Here's the polish - it's on top of the stickers that are barely visible on the photo :D

I probably wouldn't have picked this polish myself, but like I said: It's really nice for a brown polish.

Literary Lacquers ~ This Dish Is Cheap Yet Tasty

Literary Lacquers ~ This Dish Is Cheap Yet Tasty
Magenta linear holo

"This Dish Is Cheap Yet Tasty" is from "Polish Pickup" from October 2019. It's right up my alley - if I could wear only one colour polish ever again, it would most likely be a magenta linear holo!

Literary Lacquers is inspired by the urban legend of someone who had Chinese characters tattooed on her that didn't mean quite what she thought.

The formula is on the thick side but easy to work with nonetheless. It covered perfectly in two easy coats and the drying time is really good.

The stamp is from the stamping plate "Mezerdoo31" and I stamped with a metallic pink from Colour Alike called "We Can Boogie".

This is the final result including a layer of topcoat.

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 34

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 34
Sky blue linear holo with microglitter

Today I'm wearing a super pretty blue prototype from Smitten polish. I bought it in a blog sale recently - it amazing that pretty polishes like this one are even being resold!

The formula is really good and I used two fast drying coats for full opacity. The polish dries up completely flat, nothing sticks up from the nails.

I decorated my nails with wintery water decals. I have come to like water decals a lot because it's such an easy way to get really pretty decorations on the nails.

Here's the final result including topcoat. This first photo is taken with flash to show off the holo goodness.

Gabrini ~ B03 (Pembe)

Gabrini ~ B03 (Pembe)
Pink with silver microglitter

Today's polish is one of many Gambrini polishes bought in Turkey. It's a lovely dark pink packed with silver glitter.

The formula is really good and super easy to work with. It took two coats to achieve full opacity and the drying time was good too.

I made blue and white "wavy" stripes on it. The white is a plain white crème from El Corazón called "#418/1". The blue is from A England and is called "Skinhead".

Here's the end result, including a layer of topcoat.

It is not the first time I've made wavy stripes like this and I really like the design even though it's really simple.

This is B03 (Pembe) on its own; two coats and no topcoat. Ooh la la, It's super sparkly!
