Christmas nails, 2nd of December

Welcome to 2nd of December and to the second Christmassy manicure in my Christmas Calender of nails.

We started with Santa yesterday and continue with a manicure in red and green, the typical Christmas colours.

I have a white base with flakies, and red and green nail foil on top of that.

Take a look at the second set of Christmas nails for 2022:

The white is Golden Rose Rich Color #76
The flakies are Painted Polish “Supernova”
The red and green are nail foils

I originally planned to stamp over the foil but it didn’t make the manicure come together like I expected it to. So I only stamped the pinkie :D

This is two coats of Golden Rose Rich Color #76 topped with one coat of Painted Polish “Supernova”.

It’s great to make Christmas nails again – it’s such a great way to count down to Christmas!

Orly: All Dahlia’d Up
Described as coral gold shimmer

The formula of “All Dahlia’d Up” is good and easy to work with. I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time is good.

I stamped on it. I used a stamping plate called “Nicole Diary-L38” and I stamped with El Corazón’s stamping polish “Vinous”.

Unfortunately I got the idea to add some flakies on top of the stamp. I used Polished For Days’ “Love Wins” – but it was so dense that it covered up the stamping :D

This is the result, including topcoat.

You can see the stamp if you look really close :D

Here’s “All Dahlia’d Up” alone; two coats and no topcoat.

And here are the things I used today.

I must admit that I think “All Dahlia’d Up” gives me a grandma kind of feeling. It’s a nice colour though but not quite me. I’ll try it again when summer comes around to see if I like it better in the sun. Polishes For Days’ flakie though is gorgeous!
