Pull & Bear: Twinkle Star

Pull & Bear: Twinkle Star
Clear base with turquoise iridescent microglitter

Today I'm trying on my third Pull & Bear polish. I have been impressed by the two I've tried until now so let's see if this one impresses me as well.

"Twinkle Star" is a topper and I wore it over a medium blue crème from Flormar: "FC17 Speed Limit".

The formula of "Twinkle Star" is like a thick gel and even though I often prefer my polishes thick, I wasn't quite sure if this was going to work. All my worries were for nothing though, because the polish applied easily and effortlessly. The drying time was good.

I applied little stars on it - glitter stars from Inglot.

I sealed it all up with a layer of topcoat and my manicure was done.

Isn't this just pretty?

Here's a layer of "Twinkle Star" over the blue Flormar "FC17 Speed Limit". I love toppers like this one.

This is Flormar "FC17 Speed Limit" alone; two coats and no topcoat. This base colour is a one coater, but yeah, here's two coats. It's a gorgeous base.

Here's the stuff I used today.

"Twinkle Star" is so pretty, I really like it. I was surprised by the thick gel like formula but I had no problems with applications. Another winner.
Tomorrow I'm trying on the last of the four Pull & Bear polishes I bought. Stay tuned, please.

Number of coats: 2 over a base colour

Dance Legend Anna Gorelova ~ #62 Spark

Dance Legend Anna Gorelova ~ #62 Spark
Pink with silver flakies

Today’s polish is a lovely pink with shimmer and flakies.

The formula is good and  I used two easy coats for full coverage. The drying time is relatively good.

I was in the mood for holo so I added a layer of Ellagee’s “Rainbow Syrup”, which is my favourite holo topper.

Then I added a few dots with China Glaze’s “Harmony”, and I sealed it all with topcoat when they were dry.

Here’s my final outcome photographed with flash.

I don’t know why my daylight pictures get so “dreamy looking” but I kinda like the look.

This is two coats of “Spark” alone, no topcoat and no holo topper yet.

I like it because it is nice, simple and easy.

ILNP ~ Birefringence

ILNP ~ Birefringence
Described as: shifts through an array of incredible blues, purples, reds, oranges, yellows, and even subtle greens

Duo- and multichromes are back! I love polishes that actually “do” something so I love multichromes. It’s quite hypnotizing to sit and twist and turn your fingers to see all the pretty colours that show up on your nails.

Birefringence is an oldie, I think it came out in 2013. It’s a truly amazing polish, wait and see.

I used two easy coats for full opacity and the drying time was really good. This beauty doesn’t need any undies.

Let me show you how pretty Birefringence is.

Shadow with a bit of light from the window. Look at those blues and purples!

I caught a bit of the orange and yellow on the pointer on this pic.

I didn’t know what to do with it so I decided to just ad a bit of extra shine and shimmer. I used Catrice’s “Icy Slowdown” from the “Shake and Seal topcoat” collection.

Take a look at how pretty that turned out.

Ooh la la, I am in love!

Here are the two polishes side by side.

Birefringence is a beautiful multichrome. I’m amazed over the fantastic shifts!
