Walking down Memory Lane with Lacquerlicious: Strawberry Cosmo

Walking down Memory Lane with Lacquerlicious: Strawberry Cosmo
Pink tinted hologram base with magenta hologram glitter

I bought this polish four years ago when there was still a Swedish webshop called “Edgy Polish”. Unfortunately it’s closed now but it was a great place to find polishes that weren’t otherwise easily accessible for Europeans.

It’s glitter and I love glitters – the sparklier the better!

The formula is good and I used three coats for full opacity. The drying time is average.

Here it is in all its glory. This is three coats and a layer of topcoat. This is a sunshine photo.

This photo is taken with flash to show off the glittery goodness.

 Lacquerlicious: Strawberry Cosmo

This is a very beautiful polish! It’s topcoat thirsty. I ended up adding another layer of topcoat to get a smooth surface.

Drying time: Average
Finish: Glitter
Overall impression: Nice glitter, I like it.

Lacquerlicious ~ Indian Summer

Lacquerlicious ~ Indian Summer
Purple jelly base with a silver shimmer and a rainbow of small hologram glitter

Here is another Lacquerlicious. I just love that brand name, seriously! Indian Summer is purple and glittery and I love both!

Application was easy. It took three thin coats to achieve desired opacity. I probably could have gone with two ticker coats of polish, but since this has average drying time, I thought it would take too long for it to dry if I did it like that.

So, three coats it was, and then a layer of Essence Gel Look topcoat to finish it off. Here’s how pretty the polish is:

I really like these kinds of polishes with glitter in them!

So all I did was to add a neon pink stud to the base of each nail. I added triangles to all the nails except for the ring finger nail, which got a diamond shaped stud. I sealed it with another layer of Essence Gel Look topcoat, and here’s the final mani:

My nails are a bit too small for studs, really, but I dig this anyway.

Do you like studs on the nails? I bought all mine off evilBay – how about you?

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Average
Finish: Jelly with glitter
Overall impression: This is a really nice glitterpolish. I wish two coats were enough, but for a polish this pretty I’ll settle with three.

Lacquerlicious ~ Strawberry Cosmo

Lacquerlicious ~ Strawberry Cosmo
Pink tinted hologram base with magenta hologram glitter

It’s glitter time! Glitter started this addiction and even though my collection of holos is growing fast, I still love my glittahs!

Today I’ll show you a pretty deep pink/magenta glitter from Lacquerlicious! The formula is good and it’s easy to spread the glitter onto the nails. It takes three coats to build this polish up The drying time is average. I applied a layer of topcoat before I took my pictures.

Here’s three coats and a layer of topcoat. The pictures here are taken with flash:

Look at that holo goodness! I love this blurry picture!

I think this polish is beautiful on all levels!

*wipes up drool from keyboard*

Here’s a picture taken without flash. The glitters just refused to stop shining! ^_^

I love this so much that I didn’t do anything with it, I just wore it like this. *happy sigh*

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Average
Finish: Glitter
Removal: Foil method, definitely
Overall impression: I love the colour and the shiny glitters. It’s beautiful!

Lacquerlicious ~ Ruby Glaze

Lacquerlicious ~ Ruby Glaze
Red base with red and pink microglitter

The formula is a little bit on the thick side but, as I’ve said before, that’s not a problem for me - I like it that way. It looked good after two coats, but I’ve learned from yesterday that my camera will pick up any tiny little invisible-to-the-naked-eye flaw there might be – so I applied a third coat for my swatches to be on the safe side. For normal use: Two coats is enough. Drying time is good. Cool :)

So here is three coats and a layer of topcoat:

Wow, right?

This polish is right up my alley! I love every little single thing about it!

I took a brazillion pictures of this, but let me just show you one more because I want to assure you that this is a own-worthy polish.

Verdict:
I can’t type. First I drooled down my keyboard and then I swooned. ‘Nuff said!

Number of coats: 3 for the swatches
Drying time: Good
Finish: Glitter
Overall impression: I want to marry this polish!

Lacquerlicious ~ Amethyst Glaze

Lacquerlicious ~ Amethyst Glaze
Deep purple base with red, teal and purple microglitter

It’s probably not a secret that I love glitter. Glitter started my nail polish collection and it seems like I just never get tired of it.

The formula is a little bit on the thick side but I actually prefer that, so it was no big deal for me. Drying time is pretty good, and the polish builds up nicely. I first started out with two coats and a layer of topcoat, but the camera is friggin’ merciless when it comes to showing all the little flaws and I was not happy with the pictures at all. So I applied a third layer of polish and another layer of topcoat, and then I was happy. So two coats is enough for ordinary use for sure.

Take a look at three coats and a layer of topcoat:

Isn’t that just fantastic?!

I am stunned. I love it!

Here’s a rare shot of my hand without a bottle of polish. I like this picture a lot.

Verdict:
Yes, yes, a hundred times yes. I don’t know what else to say.
I actually liked it so much that I decided to see what it looked like on my beige carpet – I accidentally dropped the open bottle onto the carpet. But although I really do like the colour a lot, I had my boyfriend help me to get it off again. Phew…!

Number of coats: 3 for the swatches
Drying time: Good
Finish: Glitter
Overall impression: I love the mix of glitters a lot and I think this is extremely pretty!!
